I think the point, that Bruzas was trying, to make. here, in his complaint, of this dealership, was that these guys, at Hot Ride Motors, screwed his old man, not him, and how I took, what I read, was that Bruzas agrees wholeheartedly, with you, that his Dad did it all backwards! I have first hand knowledge, of these guys, at Hot RIde Motors, and can tell you, that this is the kind of dealership, who PREY on the unknowing and too trusting. I'd be writing the same kind of story, as Bruzas, had my wife gone, to that dealership, without me, as she would have, no doubt, made the same kind of costly mistake, as this guy's Dad! OF COURSE, Bruzas's Dad did it all backwards!!! and should have taken someone, with him, that day, when he went out to get a car, and OF COURSE he should have gotten the vehicle checked out, by his mechanic, BEFORE he gave them, ANY of his money and more important, BEFORE his Dad signed anything! And the moral of this story is that there are lots of honest used car salesmen and dealerships out there, but there will always be those out there, like this one, and we, as consumers, really need, to be on our toes and Not take anyone, at their word and before signing or buying anything, we need to have any vehicle checked out by our own mechanics. These guys are the worse of the worse. They actually shredded my drivers license, after my walking out of there, one day, and seeing me go across the street, to their competitiion and then laughed in my face, when I went back in and asked for the return of my drivers license. Listen, Dude, if you are anywhere near the city of 'brotherly' love LOL and in the market for a good used car, my advice to you, would be NOT to go anywhere near Hot Ride Motors, home of the 'notorious', Sam, the Snake, Laken, and Andrei, The Weasel, Losev, LOL........... and by all means, if you have a naive, too trusting wife, father, family member, friend, who is in the market, for a used car, Do not let them venture out alone, as there are lots out there, like these guys, at Hot Rides, who PREY on those, who SHOULD but DON'T know any better, than to trust their fellow man and to take others, at their word. It's sad, isn't it, that we can no longer trust nor take one another, at their word anymore? My own Dad talks, of a time, when they didn't even have to lock their doors, at night, and thought nothing of going out, for the day, even, and leaving their doors unlocked and everytime I go, to his home, in North Philly! and find his door UNLOCKED, I blast him and tell him about the possibiliy of home invasions and he looks at me, as though I had 2 heads or something, lol. It's like I am talking to the wall when I try to educate my own Dad, by telling him, that we live in a different day and time and that those days, where you could TRUST in a stranger, are long gone and I couldn't help but think, of my own Dad, while reading, how these guys totally Ripped Off this guy's old man, as my own Dad is just as trusting and as naive as this guy, but at the same time, I understand, that it's hard, not to be, when you've been raised, in a different time, where you COULD trust that when someone tells you something, it is usually the truth. Hopefully after consumers read about the horrible experiences, that people have had with these guys, they will soon be out of business, but no doubt there are plenty more just like them out there, waiting to Rip-You Off!

So Bruzas, what is the point of buying a car and THEN taking it over to your mechanic to have it inspected? I have no doubt that they sold you a piece of junk, but come on! According to you, you took this lemon straight over to your mechanic and had it back at the car lot the next day. By then I'm sure you'd signed a sales contract and have the mandated FTC sticker that says you're buying the car "as is" with no warranty. You're pretty much screwed by that point. Why didn't you have the car inspected before you bought it. An honest dealer will have no problem with a customer having the car inspect before the sale.
