Mere days before closing on a real estate transaction, we had to seek legal advise after finding out that the Seller had already entered into a RE contract with Real Estate Agent Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale

During free consultation, Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C.  determined that Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale  had committed several violations of law and ethics. Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C.  claimed that he will have the escrow  with Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale  cancelled, by writing a letter to Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale, if his retainer of $1,500 is paid.

The AVERAGE sales price of the property in question was at that time approximately $150K, which Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale now stood to score for some $50K. Unsurprisingly, Aaron Benson of Realty One Group in Scottsdale decided he is not walking away from 100K - 130K gain just because some Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C. sent him a "boooooooh" letter.

Finally, Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C. resolved it was time to  "start filling in the blanks". Of course Andrew Rahtz could take the matter to the court, but it may take months to claim the property back and could cost about $60K.

Long story short - as if it hadn't turned out bad enough for the Seller, who, after deduction of all liabilities from the sale proceeds was left with some $25K for her nearly 200K condo, Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C. , without scruple, took another couple hundreds from the Seller  for writing a useless letter, instead of telling her the entire truth upfront, knowing that she can't afford 60K for his services.

Since, Andrew Rahtz of Platt & Westby, P.C. is an attorney, I'm adding a small disclaimer solely for the purpose of protecting myself.
