Unfortunately, you fell victim to a classic ripoff. There are no puppies. Never were. This is someone who finds a way to tug on heartstrings to get your money and it is especially easy when there are children involved. This heartless b*****d knew that you were telling your kids all about these puppies and getting their hopes up - so that when you were forced with having to come up with MORE money to get them (I knew it was coming, and was anticipating the 'gotcha' as I was reading your post) you would do anything you could as to not disappoint your children. Think about it - would someone who is GIVING puppies away: 1. Pay to ship them to you (even if it's only $50) 2. Go through the hassle of crating them, driving them to the airport, have them shipped etc. 3. Offer to front ANOTHER $250 to facilitate getting them to you Answer is NO. Boxers are very popular dogs (I have two) and if someone is giving boxer puppies away, they would be snatched up by someone in their own neighborhood! I'm sorry you got scammed. Take it as a $358 lesson learned. NEVER pay a stranger with a Money Gram, Western Union..etc. If they won't meet you and take cash, then offer to pay via PayPal with your credit card. ANyone can get a PayPal account and it's secure.
