I found an ad for a business for sale via craiglist (I have boughten other good businesses from craigslist, not all are fake and scams). He was claiming to have a website that he needed to sell off quick due to a recent job opportunity. This was supposed to be a grand once in a life-time opportunity with a mega signing bonus for a large marketing company in LA. This online business had been online for only a few months and due to a "vaguely worded" non-compete agreement, as he put it, he had to sell it.
He was very professional about everything, I talked to him on the phone for a while as well and felt comfortable about everything. We talked about the business and he knew more than enough to show me that he at least knew what he was talking about. He also talked about his career field and knew what I felt was more than enough knowledge to believe in him and his line of work. Anyways the point is that this guy was good and very believable. I was still skeptic till I found this other post for the same guy and type of web business.
After we had arranged an agreement he even sent me a contract that I had my attorney look over and change a few things and we had a done deal so I transfered the money to the account he provided for me via wells fargo. He contacted me a few times afterwards letting me know how the transfer of the site from his server to mine was going. When time came for the due date on the contract to be up he notified me that he was now working his new job that was taking up all his time and he would need a little more time. Well that has now become a month and he hasn't been responding to any of my emails or phone calls. He is very witty and knows what he is doing. Be careful. He seems to change minute letters in his name. I do have other information on this character as well if anyone would like to know.

oh yeah, anthony schultz, or anthony st. george as i knew him, was very good! scammed me out of $5K. i'd like to talk to anyone who has an info. on this guy. would lke to verify his address & other information about him. i activated my myspace account for this reason only. search for the edmeister in denver to find me. send me a message & i'll be sure to get in touch with you. this guy needs to pay for his actions!! tony or mike, please try to contact me!

Hey Tony, Sorry for the late response. I wasn't ever notified that anyone looked at my post. I still haven't gotten a hold of Anthony and my money is long gone. He did finally send a partial website but nothing worth any money. In short I got duped and he's still on the run. I found another case with on this rip off report.com under the name of anthony shultz or something like unto it. Since Ripoff-Report will not allow email addresses or phone numbers please go to (((ROR redacted))) to find my information and contact me via email. I would love to work with you to catch this bugger. I will try and check this rip off report weekly for a while now if anyone else has more info to help catch this scammer. Mike in Las Vegas has a reputation of trying to buy businesses and as soon as he owns them he reneges on the contract and demands his money back along with trying to keep the website he purchases. There have been SEVERAL website owners complaining about him recently for trying to take their websites. If he's not able to take the website and get his money back, he immediately tries to libel and or slander the website owner to harm them. Beware of Mike!

Mike, Please contact me if possible. I had the identical scam pulled on me 2 weeks ago by Anthony Schultz and up until I found your post I really thought that he might just be busy. I would love to try to find this guy and prosecute him if possible. Thanks, Tony
