Aol Net Market Upon Aol cancellation, they signed me up for netmarket without my permission. Trumbill Connecticut
I had to cancel netmarket when I saw my account charged, Net market didn't refund full amount., & took two phone calls & 20 days for refund... 40 Oakview Drive,
When I cancelled my AOL account of 3 yrs, I mysteriously was charged $79.99 for an account with Netmarket... I called to inquire about the charge, they said they didn't know how I was signed up & said they would cancel it & credit my checking account, within 10-15 day's... Who ever heard of such a waiting period, usual 3-5 business days, after arguing this point with them, I said fine... When I called back to confirm cancellation, they said my account was still active, so I cancelled once again & a few days later verified cancellation went through ok, but still had to wait 10 - 15 days for credit... When I received my credit it was not the full amount of $ 79.99, they originally charged me, it was $73.32... I called once again to inquire the reasoning behind this; they said my account with them was pro rated for a lesser refund... I argued the point that I never signed up or used the service or even authorized the charged... My question is how can they get away with this, unauthorized charge, hold your money for so long, & not give you a full refund.... How can Netmarket get away with stalling to credit your account, 10 15 days, so they can charge you a pro rated charge to give you a lesser credit?
I never had a problem with AOL through all my years of service with them, but you can bet I do now...
