I too, was told about the non "out of pocket" scheme! I took out loans over 15k, was lied to, and still have not found a job yet! I hope your concerns gets rectified somehow... "If I knew then, what I know now"....

Well Shae: They sure took you. Did the same to me, wouldn't tell me how much my classes would be until after I was in. Now you can look in the course catalogue, which I did, but I thought I was paying for IT classes, but they put it under business so they cost over 50% more. For one thing, just forget about your transcripts. You live in Georgia a state that doesn't recognize UOP, so none of the classes will be acceptable as transfers anyway. If you get any bills from lenders, for the school fees, call them directly and say you did not authorize the charge, just go around UOP. Then go to a regular brick and mortar community college. You said you have a child, but at least out west, a lot of community colleges have child care facilities on-site, and if you don't have a job they can help you out with the financial arrangements. You will get a much better education, real help from real instructors and tutors, and it will cost you about one-tenth of what University of Phoenix would have charged. Good luck:
