I scheduled an appt for 1 pm and when I arrived the rude receptionist told me I had missed my appt because it was scheduled for 10 am. When I double checked my email, it did indeed say 1 pm. I had to reschedule. I should have know then...
When I did interview, the agent was very personable and nice. She said my resume was good and that she would "market me everywhere". Then she asked me if I'd be willing to take a job that wanted to hire asap and I told her yes.
Not hearing from her within a few days, I called. Her reply was "When we find something you qualify for we'll let you know, meanwhile keep applying other places and online". I applied for several jobs on Monster.com etc and found that these had been posted by AppleOne. I called the agent and told her that I have filled out all these application and gave her the ID# to each of them. Again I got the response, "We'll call you"
It's been over 2 months now. Usually employment agencies will look through resumes when they get jobs and see who qualifies. Not this girl. She posts a mass email with a description and says to contact her if interested, a test would be sent out shortly. About 3 days ago, I replied to one. I sent her my resume (even tho she has it already) and told her I would like to take the test. Never heard from her and I emailed her twice regarding this. I've received no test, no communication.
Then another agent contacted me regarding a position she wanted to send my resume to. She said they wanted to hire asap. After a week I contacted her and asked if she'd heard. "No," she said. "But as soon as I know, I'll call you." That was 3 weeks ago. I sent her another email asking if this position had been filled and I haven't heard from her at all.
This company is unprofessional, not helpful at all and a complete waste of time and energy. Don't bother with them!
