AQUA-TECH WATERPROOFING Buyer Beware! Maryland
I hired Aqua-Tech Waterproofing, Inc. in Maryland to waterproof my basement in March 1998. I bought the maximum service because I wanted the LIFETIME WARRANTY, transferable.
I called them several years later because I noticed some damp/water seepage beginning at the basment foundation. I told them I had a lifetime warrantly and they HUNG UP ON ME.
Then, they disappeared. All phone numbers disconnected. I understand the way it works: do inferior, faulty work; give the buyer a certificate for lifetime guarantee to inspire confidence and security; when the warranty holders have a problem, dissove the business and/or rename it or alter/add to the name to do what? start over to rip off more customers? Reneg on the warrantees?
I have some basement water problems now-not huge-but still, they are responsible to repair and make it right. They are HIDING or disguising themselves in the community to avoid accountability. I can't find them. Very slippery, slimy, no integrity. I have had 2 other waterproofing companies out to inspect and they say the same thing: "Improper Waterproofing" evident.
I am going to find these people-or the owner(s), somehow, through private investigation and attorneys, and then sue the hell out of him/them unless they come out of hiding and take responsibility.
Scum. Stay away from them.
