In mid September i was notified via e-mail that i was approved for a $10,000 loan. I never applied with this company but their affiliates which i do understand is how this loans secured or unsecured works. in the email, i was instructed to pick 1 out of 3 options to end the final stage of the loan processing. either i use a title loan to a vehicle i own, 2005 or newer, a co-signer with collateral or pay a bond or as you say an insurance that would reimbursed after one year of paying on time monthly payments. I was told this would show the company that in spite of my past credit history, in good faith i would put a premium down that was set by the Insurance brokerage Manager. In another email he did tell me that ARCO would pay more than half of the premium and i would pay way less than half. I was all for it and did what the next letter from the Insurance Brokerage Manager said. Go to Western Union send the money transfer from person to person. I was not comfortable with that so i asked for the name and phone number of the insurance company and i wanted to speak to them. I was given the number and i did call. It was a place in Canada. I asked four questions that the receptionist was able to answer. I felt a little at ease. They also instructed me to put the name of a receiver that was supposedly fictitious and when i do receive my loan funds, i will call and change the receivers name. After the transaction, i did speak to the rep and he assured me that the loan funds would be given to me by courier within 24 hours. the next day nothing. I email the support services department and they said that the underwriter faxed the documents over late the day before so the funds are going to get it the following day. this is day four and there is still nothing. I would email the company and their domain would kick my email back and the phone line that i could always reach the rep on was busy, for many days. from the 18th of September till now, i have had no luck in reaching the company. There were our highs and lows throughout the loan processing but all in all, business is not always going to be good.

Your money is gone

Never, ever send money by Western Union to somebody you don't know. You called a phone number and talked to someone who answered 4 questions and you sent them money? You thought it was an insurance comapny - but it was probably a phone in somebody's basement. Your money is gone, you are never going to get a loan from them. Don't bother calling, don't bother emailing them either - they will never respond but if they do respond they will ask for more money. Give up now and cut your losses. Sorry you were duped but these companies prey on people like you.
