Arise Mobility Pressure sale of £3500 chair to 81 year old lady Wolverhampton Wolverhampton, operate Nationwide
Mum had a visit from a nice salesman today at 10am following a telesales call yesterday afternoon offering a free pillow in return for a consultation. We were pleased she has agreed to look at buying such a chair. He suggested the more expensive vibrating chair option which might help my mother’s lack of appetite.
The “nice man” walked away with an order for a riser chair and a cheque for £3345. The firm in question is Arise Mobility Limited and owned by:
Their flashy website and reassuring automated telephone message repeats their commitment to family, honesty, sincerity and trust. They are also members of the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) and proudly display the TRADINGSTANDARDS.GOV,UK APPROVED CODE emblem on their website.
Needless to say we cancelled the cheque and order. Others may not be so lucky. Spread the word and avoid at all costs.
