Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have read numerous scam and rip-off complaints against Armando Montelongo Seminars or AMS, unfortunately I had been sold into the belief that they were actually a legit group that was to assist us in our own financial growth through real estate. Initially I should have gone with my gut instinct, however they offered us a partial payment option in addition to the idea that if you choose nothing, you'll receive nothing and you only have yourself to blame. I read that people in OK and other cities were purposively discounted from $1,497.00 to $800.00... we here in California were sold from $3,000 to $1,497.00... in any case the intention of AMS is to UPSELL! everyone. The thing they do best is to separate you from your money!

I initially became aware when I encountered a family crisis and acted within a 72 hr. rescission period by Federal & state law, sent via certified mail. I attempted to contact AMS with my concern, and later received a call from Marlina (210) 209-8875 that they would process my refund of $500.00... then I'm later told two weeks... then I finally received another call from Marlina, and that it would take up to another 30-days via check, while collecting % off our money... yet I read various complaints that others have never received their monies back. I then contacted the Federal Trade Commission and the local state CA Attorney General's Office... here's the catch: "We the people" basically means that more and more people from the same rip-off and/ or scam need to file their complaints... so please help us help you!

Upon my last conversation (10/14/10) and assurance by Stephenie that I would definitely receive my refund by Friday 10/15/10, as of this morning Tuesday 10/19/10... this NEVER TOOK PLACE! AMS and their employees are guilty of screwing people out of their money, and even upon numerous promises, they fail to follow through... period! How many times does a person and/ or party need to prove themselves worthy of their word? LIES, LIES, and more LIES! This paints the true nature of AMS and Armando Montelongo... yet they are quick to defend themselves and state that their propose is to "educate and ensure our success"...  B.S! Their sole purpose is to please themselves with your money! I phoned Stephenie this morning to inform her that the so-called refund had NOT taken place, and her response was null and void. The attorney that was mentioned about, turned out to be the Attorney General's Office of Edmund G. Brown Jr. of the State of California. This happens when enough people complain about the same thing and/ or business... so KEEP ON COMPLAINING! Furthermore, I'M WILL BE FILING FOR LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AMS LATER THIS MORNING!!!

Alright... I called my bank to verify whether or not I received my refund... NO such occurrence! I phone "Stephenie" @ (210) 399-0269 She immediately placed me on hold again, and informed me that my attorney's response is delaying the process. How much more bull can they dish out? All along the conversation they try to control you, and insinuate that your the one holding up the process... or your the one who's not being understanding. That's real easy to behave when they're sitting on your money. First of all, don't tell after 2 1/2 months that you've decided the return our money and tell us every thing is okay, and we should have our money within the next couple- three days. Despite my calling back, they neglected to  inform me that there is a change in plains, hence the return process has NOT taken place. I.E. It was a representative from the attorney general's office who wrote AMS on our behalf... but hey, it's all my fault, and I'm the one holding up the process? How much more bull do they think they can peddle? First of all, when a state appointed attorney, and/ or Federal respond, it'd usually an indictment, not a well let's have our company attorney clear things up, and then it will be okay with the FTC, Atty General's office... bull crap! They'll get there's because until I actually get my money back, there's not going to be a positive follow up for the agencies. Regardless, people should take this matter up with your local small clms office, or civil if over $7,500... generally in most states, they will allow you to sue for up to three times the amount, due towards financial costs & collection attempts. Good luck!

Morgan? How many people within your organization do we need to discuss the same dame issue? Of coarse, you won't put your number out there because you'll be bombarded with phone calls... only I still don't have your number and extension... here's an idea, why haven't you researched my case, or phoned me yourself? You took the initiative to write your rebuttal. This is bull! and yet you people boast about your integrity... that's rich! If I do not receive verification by 4:50 p.m. today... by this coming Monday, don't worry about it... regret it! If I didn't know any better, I say that this doesn't look like good news about AMS... you think!

Whatever... and who might you be? I've heard it all before... there's nothing to discuss, just run my card like you did when you first took my funds... what's so hard about reversing the process and returning me my monies as promised? Enough talk, what is there to discuss? Just give me back my money, or I'll sue you for three times the amount for collection costs. Thank you!

If that were the case, then you would not have this kind of rap pore! I've been waiting for over two and a half months to receive my money back. How can you be so crass to thinking you would gain our respect, much more our business? AMS is just as cold hearted and pompous as its CEO! On this past Tuesday morning, I was actually on my way to the Courthouse to file a $1,500 Small Claims action, however I received a phone call from an AMS rep named "Stephenie", and she told me that they were processing my refund, and that she needed my card#... Today is Friday, and my email notified me of this nonsense rebuttal, which isn't by any means a rebuttal, because it lacks the truth... however, I have NOT received any refund! There's is NO excuse for their delay, as like others nationwide, other than their desire to keep your money! Screw'em I'm filing with the Courthouse on Monday. They can fly a rep out to the trial, and try to explain themselves. In my case, I also noticed a number of others claiming that they too had been ripped off by AMS. This lost all credibility in my book, and I cancelled within 3-days of signing into their contract, and by Federal Law it was sent certified and postmarked before 12 midnight on the third day. This sticks in any court! Say if your spouse was promiscuous behind your back... for most of us, it would be hard to earn they're trust back, and in AMS's case... this is an analogy that they'll never understand. Once again, I SAY THIS TO YOU, you who are victims of AMS... people need to band together and stop AMS from any further misconduct by simply logging their complaints to: FTC, Atty General, and even the BBB. These entities and governmental agencies do NOT represent individual s, however they DO represent "the People" this requires every AMS victim to participate! You know, in AMS's defense they tell you that they're here to help educate people, and that they are not responsible for the individual achieving differences, as some people have been up sold into $20 to $30k out of their monies in order to see some results, and in some cases, still nowhere better off than before they handed over their hard earned money to Armando. AMS will NOT tell this up front because it would shock the hell out of the person... so they just bait and switch until you stop paying them any further. Then there are those of us that just say no... and they refuse to return your money, even after they tell you they are... NO there's no misunderstanding about it... they're just a bunch of SCAM & Rip-off artists. Get the picture now?

Armando Montelongo Seminars "Definite Scam"

#9Author of original report

Fri, September 17, 2010

As I read and as I have experienced for myself. Armando Montelongo is a SCAM and his representatives represent his objectives... he and his staff are full of themselves. They truly take advantage of people, and they are misleading. They'll you they are in the "education" business... however they are in the "Flip your wallet" business. Their whole focus is to separate you from your money. They do NOT care about you, they're only in it for the money. There's a fine line between ethics and greed! I'm my case, I mentioned that I had to cancel, well within 72 hrs. in which they informed me that it would take up to two weeks for a refund check via mail, upon speaking to Marlina at (210) 209-8875, she indicated that it would take upwards of 30-days. First off it doesn't take up to 30-days to process a refund... don't forget it takes two seconds to debit from your account. Nevertheless, it's been 30-days as of tomorrow, 9/17/10 and Marlina stopped returning my calls. There is absolutely No excuse for this kind of thing to have occur, not even a confirmation of a check #. As like so many others... it's because about greed, and an extreme lack of ethics. Just to note, I'll be contacting their local D.A.'s office, in addition to the BBB, Dept of corps, Attorney General, and the FTC just to name a few. The more people who call upon these agencies, the more positive response we'll get from them, as they act in numbers! One of these days, we'll probably watch the news, and either Armando will get his a*s shot, and/ or put in prison for his crimes, and then who's fault or blame will come of it. Perhaps if there even comes an indictment, then the court and all the attorney's involved will consume all of Armando's assets, while leaving us victims penniless. Gee, I wonder if I can get interest on my money... ha, ha, ha!
