Kittanning Welfare Office Armstrong County Assistance Office is a rip-off! They are supposed to offer you discounted insurance when you get a job but they cut you off COMPLETELY instead. Kittaning Pennsylvania
The seriousness of these allegations is real. I risk losing my benefits by reporting this rip-off! But, I cannot take the BS any more. Our local Welfare office has given my husband NO CHOICE but to NOT seek employment. You see, I am Disabled and I get welfare insurance, but, if my husband gets a job I lose my medical, and I NEED my medical. I am on a lifetime medications list. I cannot live without my meds but we were told that the Government does not care. If my husband goes back to work I lose my medical. The welfare office IS supposed to offer us a partial plan until medical is offered through the employer. Sorry - we have NEVER been offered this service, so I run the risk of dying if my husband goes back to work.
