I agree with Sherri I too got a letter from Arrow Financial yesterday. Since the name is similar to a creditor I am currently paying, I did a little research. Low and behold, the debt that Arrow says I owe is a credit card company out of Germany! I never had a credit card with this company GE Money Bank. Do not pay these thieves a dime! I am sending my letter to my attorney and I suggest you dispute this allerged debt to the fullest extent! My two cents worth

Sometimes with a certified letter, they will refuse it. If you fax them and have a fax confirmation, they cannot deny receiving it. Arrow's fax # is 847-647-1215. Debt scavengers and their ilk will do cute things like try to re-age the "debts" they purchase (mostly out-of-stat paper). And unless you have legal counsel pushing the issue, they will not remove any negative information they falsely place on your credit. And paying these bottom-feeders is like feeding a stray cat...they keep coming back for more.
