I was also rip'd-off by ASAP Motors - I was advised to mail an official bank check (just like cash) to ASAP Motors for a 95 Toyota Motor with 60,000 miles on it. Sent Official Bank Check on Friday, June 9, 2006. Deanne from accounting called on Monday, June 12, 2006 and confirmed that she received my Offical Bank Check "CASH".

When then transfered to the back to give my delivery address of the shop. Gave it to two different guys that same day and said my motor was ship that day and should arrive at my mechanic on that Thursday, June 15, 2006. My mechanic called and said no motor. I then in turn called ASAP Motors and was told that I never gave them a ship to address. I was put on hold for more then 30 minutes. I hung up and called back and ask that my money be refunded.

I would buy another motor locally. I was told that my motor was not returned back so no refund could be issued. But no motor was sent to be returned. I then ask again for my refund. The accounting department said that all my paperwork was on Dina's desk to call back later.

I called back several times and also had my husband to call from out of the country offshore and he was told that the paperwork was on Dina's desk. Till this day Monday, July 10, 2006 my paperwork is on Dina's desk.

I have contacted the District Attorney of Houston for more action on this complaint. He placed several calls to ASAP Motors and Dina's was always out of the office. Then he finally got a hold of her and she was supposed to have sent me a check. HAHAHA it never arrived, probably still sitting on her desk. I placed another call to DA and awaiting on phone call to see what is the next step. I may also have to get information on how to sue.

ASAP Motors has $1,485.00 of my money and I want it back (official bank check like I was ask for) no company check.

Will be writing again and soon as I have more information to share with everyone that has been rip'd-off.

Sir you know that your comments are not true, and the DA you called and called and called contacted me and got straight threw the 1st time. You told an employee in our office to hold your check you were going to be in town over the 4th of july and you would come by and pick it up yourself. Your check sat in will call at the front counter for over a week you never showed up to pick it up and I instructed the accounting department to get the correct address and mail it. As I do not have all of the details of your order I understand you were unhappy with your service you requested a full refund and no one here hesistated in providing that for you. Had you ask us to hold your check so you could make false statements to the da you would have recieved your funds much sooner. But I am sure you have by this point recieved your money, and for whatever bad experience you have had and am deeply sorry your purchase did not work out.
