i am very disapointed in aspen fitness clubs on memorial dr in lancaster ohio. 

when i was signing a year long contract, the guy employee promised me that in a couple weeks they will have a stand up tanning bed and two more tanning beds put in shortly after.

they run 4 beds and only for 12 mins, at a time. thats as long as u can go. usually the waiting time is at least and hour.  on the 3rd day of my membership i went up to the manager and said " im not really happy here because of the hour waits for the tanning beds '

 i have kids and cannot sit here for 1 hr or more.  the manager told me "to stick it out and give it a few more days"  a few days later i went back up and said , "hey man, this just isnt the place for me, can i cancel my membership?" he said "oh no honey you only have up to three days to cancel"

awww... i was so mad.... being i asked on day three and he told me to give it a few more days.

when u go to your tanning bed the employee (most of the time) hands u eye goggles and a small pieace of napkin to dry/wash ur body off after tanning. the reason they have no towels to give their customers is b/c the employees are working out and boxing and did not do the laundry, which the laundry place is right next door.

a employee told me once " u have to get a napkin because i have no towels clean". i responded with a smile " why not, what's up"  he said " aw we were hangin out and i didnt get to it before the manager left and i cant do it without him being here. lol"  i couldn't believe the laziness.

the manager and the guy employees are the most lazy employees i have ever dealt with. and to not have a customer service is ridiculous. i truly believe its because they could care less about the customer.

aspen fitness clubs only want your signature and credit card so they can guarantee your payment for a year.
 
i have also over heard in a beauty salon that 3 diffrent people said that aspen had with drew more than one payment a few times. and to never trust them and to always check your bank statement.

in conclusion, i just wanted to inform others what a bad, selfish company aspen fitness clubs is. i know that this company is a franchise. and the location is in lancaster ohio on n. memorial dr.

You should never feel "ashamed" over filing a ripoff report.  There is always a reason for filing and it is the responsibility of the business to provide decent customer service in the first place to keep their name off here.

It's too bad they threatened that lawsuit, or maybe they just gave you a lil "sumthin sumthin" to get you to come back here and shill?

i would like to say that i am truly sorry to all the employees at aspen fitness in lancaster ohio on memorial drive.

i made my inital ripoff report about a month and a half ago. and i feel i did not give aspen fitness a "fair shot". over this month and a half i have seen wonderful qualities as well and did not post that in my inital report.

i would like to state that the manager did not remember that he told me i could not cancel after the 3 day grace peroid. and i did make a ty-po in the first report by stating "a 3 yr contract" and i meant to type in 1 yr contract.

aspen fitness does have alot of great qualities. i have worked with children services for 11 years and have only seen a very few amount of daycares that are as wonderful as this one. the employees are very well trained and qualified. when i took my children in the center i could feel the "caring" and "loving" energy they gave me and my kids.

after the manager read my inital ripoff report he said "i could cancel with no termination fee since i was so unhappy at aspen."  i went ahead and canceled my membership.
the funny thing is i had grown to love that place and really enjoyed talking and building a relationship with the girls in the back and the "3 amigo's" up front :)

over this time from when i wrote my first ripoff report i had came to this site and tryed to erase the report and could not. i ignored it and hoped it went away. instead they saw the report and i felt really bad for saying all that negative stuff. i have seen a positive change over the month, even w/o them reading the report. i can tell that aspen fitness is not only a "company" they are

also a family. i really enjoyed thier friendship and wanted to say i am truly sorry for writting all that bad stuff when i was angry and for hurting your feelings. i never meant to do so.

IM SORRY!!

IN CONCLUSION I FEEL THAT ASPEN FINESS IN LANCASTER OHIO ON MEMORIAL DRIVE IS A FRIENDLY CARING COMPANY THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEEDS AND WOULD EDUCATE THEMSELVES TO HELP SERVE YOU BETTER. PLEASE IGNORE MY FIRST REPORT IN WHICH CASE I WROTE WHEN I WAS ANGRY. SORRY.
