ATN-Across The Nation -Foul Pay!,

Watch out for this company and the employees in it!!

PAY, I have contacted them through email, voicemail and texts, actually spoke to a person a few times when they finally answered (Rare) to keep getting the run-a-round about pay!

Read the other reviews on here. Search ATN or choose this link > http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/atn.aspx   . You
will see the same complaints along with the run-a-round with pay on here. After contacting the customer service and getting no where,  I had contacted the owner Joey at [email protected] letting him know firstly, that I got his email from RipOff Report and secondly about the Pay that I didnt get. Both voicemail and email were ignored! I was very patient with them and gave them every opportunity to correct the problem with that being said I am here to say. Do not work for this company unless you want to work as a VOLUNTEER or for FREE! Tell your friends to BEWARE!

WOW! took a few years for your company to say they resolve the issues of not getting paid!!!!

im still waiting for pay and parking. submitted hours, submitted parking receipts. received neither. provided receipts to the recruiter at ATN, customer service at ATN, the recruiter at ATN .... she  says she didnt get them or my hours, called customer service again and submitted both again. these were exactly after the event! nothing. called Joey... ? nothing!

by the time i got a hold of someone.... they said i submitted everything to late and could not be paid!

its been a few years now and have let it go!

Resolve the issue and pay me already!!!!!

ATN Promo Response to Staff Payment Concerns

#3UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Tue, November 12, 2013

I would like to take a minute to address the concerns called out here on Rip-Off Report over the last few years regarding ATN and their lack of payment to their staff.

Before anything else, if you were truly not paid for work you performed on behalf of ATN Promo, I encourage you to go to the Illinois Secretary of State and file a report as this issue needs to be resolved immediately.

ATN has now been in business for over a decade (11 years to be exact). Throughout that time, we have remained in good standing with the State of Illinois – something that would not remain true if we were a scam company or we didn’t pay our staff. We in fact do pay all of our staff for the work they’ve performed. There are only three reasons why someone would not be paid via ATN:

-       If they no-showed or cancelled at the last minute

-       If there was a blatant breach of contract by the staff member

-       If the employee moved and did not contact ATN with their change of address

My question back to the staff who are questioning ATN for lack of payment would simply be this: upon working for ATN Promo, did you read and understand the terms of the agreement you knowingly and willingly signed? Specifically in the following areas:

-       Payment terms

  • During the timeframe of these complaints, ATN’s payment terms dictated staff would be paid within five (5) days of ATN receiving payment from their client. Unfortunately there are times when a client will not pay ATN for 90+ days and because of that, payment to staff can be delayed.
  • Our payment structure has since changed drastically (for the better). For current information on ATN and their current payment process, please visit the FAQ’s section of ATN’s website - http://www.atnpromo.com/faqs/

-       W9 paperwork (if applicable – only applicable for those earning < $600)

  • Did you submit your completed W9 form?
  • Was it filled out properly?

-       Last minute cancellation/no show policy

  • If you cancelled for an event you were confirmed to work and did not give proper notice (48 hours), you are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.
  • The same policy is in place for employees who no call/no show to an event in which they were confirmed to work.
  • In these circumstances, the $150 is collected from additional monies owed to said employee; thus potentially eliminating a paycheck said employee may have previously earned.

-       Blatant breach of contract (your ATN employment agreement)

  • The following are examples of a blatant breach of contract, which would result in withholding of payment from an ATN employee
    • Circumventing ATN and directly contacting clients directly at any time
    • Soliciting yourself to a client onsite
    • Acting in an inappropriate manner toward ATN internal staff/clients/the general public
    • Discussing pay rates with other ATN employees

Should you have any questions regarding any of the information enclosed above, please feel free to reach out to the ATN office directly as this is and will always be the best course of action for resolving any issues you may have with the company. When reaching out, please be sure to provide the following information:

-       Your full name

-       Your base location

-       The event(s) in question where you have yet to receive payment

  • Program name
  • Program dates/dates worked

We look forward to resolving these issues and working with everyone again in the near future.

Sincerely,

The ATN Team
