AuraVie RIPOFF AND FRAUDLENT MISREPRESENTATION OF PRODUCT RECEIVED Van Nuys California
Signed up for trial of AuraVie skincare on www.tryauravie.com. There is no obvious mention of additional charges or cancellation of future shipments other than the $4.95 shipping charge and low and behold 14 days later you get a charge of $97.88 to your bank account. When I called at first they refused to do anything other than the cancel future shipments and until I called again today I was waiting for additional shipment of product so I could return it and get my money back minus a 15% restocking fee. When I called again today I found out that the $97.88 charge was for the products I'd initially received provided I hadn't opene them. What a rip off as by the time I pay for shipping plus a confirmation to make sure they receive it and have the restocking fee taken off, I'll be luck so get half the $97.88 but it's still better than letting them keep the whole amount. It's a lesson well lerned as the "Terms" were way down the bottom of the website and you have to physicall click on the "Terms & Conditions" link to find out about these ripoff tactics. Unfortnately I'd done my order on my cell phone so the link was even less obvious and I wasn't looking for it since I'd ordered it through some other website that advertises free samples of all kinds of products and they linked me to AuraVie. I've since cancelled emails from that website as well. The government really needs to get after these people that are doing these kinds of sales tactics.

Your best defense against this company is to go on the State of California's Attorney General website and file a claim against them. Company owed me $195.76 for the 2 automatic debits they made to my checking without me knowing it. It only took a month after filing to get all my money back. Be sure to send a thank you letter to Attorney General Kamala D. Harris when you get your money back.
