I purchased a 2013 Jaguar from Mike Mannone, a salesman for Auto Discovery LLC in Rochester Hill, Michigan. Part of the purchase price was stipulated for delivery of the car to my residence in Palm Beach, Florida.
The transport company called the day of delivery and insisted on delivering the car at night and it arrived around 7:30 p.m. Because it was too dark to inspect the car, I signed the receipt and added a note stating the car could not be inspected. The driver then loaded it back on the truck and took it to another town and put it in storage.
Mike Mannone at Auto Discovery washed his hands of the situation, refusing to instruct the driver to deliver the car in the daylight so it could be inspected or to assist us in any way, even though $500 of the purchase price had been paid to Auto Discovery for the delivery of my car. Ultimately I had to go to a nearby town and pay the storage fee in order to retrieve it.
