We try our best each and every day to offer excellence in our practice. We understand that consumers always have the right of way and MUST be acknowledged first, and we always try to accomodate the customer even if it means to dig further into our pockets just to see somebody happy.
We apologize personally not as an individual but as a team to this customer for not understanding the contracts or amounts in dispute fully! The last thing we would want is for someone who does not understand something to sign on it. Afterall I think most customers know that a lending agent will always verify information (each and every purchase) with the customer to make sure there is 100% accuracy. If a customer approves of such information from a customer it is THEN that the lending agent will issue a funding notice and then everything will be set in stone.
I am trying to make a sense of clarity with all our customers, and people who will read some of these posts and think "what is this dealership upto"? Well ladies & gentlemen for a few extra $$ we are definitely not trying to put our license on the line, and the customer here is claiming that we stole his taxes.
We cannot charge tax as a fee or seperate charge. What we are authorized to do is to COLLECT your Local or State tax ONLY and that amount will go directly to your Motor Vehicle department for registration and completion of the sale. So I am not quite sure that this customer understood exactly what happened there. As far as his body work or paint job request I would like very much for the following statement to be completely clear for customers: "NYS Limited Lemon Law Warranty" is issued to every single retail customer in NYS, and our dealership will continue to give every single customer a complete and thorough explanation of EXACTLY what that warranty will cover the customer for the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. The terms of that warranty are on every single car in our showroom and on our lot. The terms of that warranty are also disclosed and MUST be signed by every customer and the customer will be given a copy of that warranty and will be given a thorough explanation by the F&I or BUSINESS MANAGER. Please ask before purchasing for an explanation of the "NYS Limited Lemon Law Warranty" so that you will know it for future use.
I cannot say we did not appreciate the business from our customer, but if a customer regrets to bring his issues to our dealership prior to posting something on this site then they are not giving us the abililty to explain (again if necessary) our liabilities as well. I believe that this particular customer has brought such attention to almost everybody in this dealership multiple times, but the complaints were recieved almost 8 months after the date of purchase, and we have further accomodated the customer anyway.
For any questions, please bring forth all issues or questions or complaints either by calling us toll free @ 800-818-7003, or you may email us to: [email protected] and somebody will be able to help your every needs. Remember, we want to succeed not DIE out like some of our competitors have!!
Thank you
