12/05/08, I received a letter from my credit union that the issue is resolved and that I will be receiving a full refund deposited to my checking account. I will also be getting a new debit card. Everything will return back to normal, thank goodness. AutoPartsGiant.com also responded to my complaint on the Better Business Bureau's website. I don't know which of my actions helped resolve this issue quickly, but hopefully my story on RipoffReport.com will give you ideas and suggestions to help you resolve your problem with AutoPartsGiant.com too.

Thank you for the tip about filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, I will do it! 11/26/2008, AutoPartsGiant.com sent me a generic e-mail stating that they shipped my order. No UPS tracking information provided. I didn't believe it. 12/02/2008, they sent me an e-mail stating that they were out-of-stock of my air pump and will be cancelling my order. And to disregard the previous email from last week that they shipped my order! Lies lies lies. Supposedly they will be issuing me a refund. I doubt it. Reports from other consumers on this website have had the same crap told to them too. I will provide another update if I ever get my credit back.

After following the path of contacting Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, etc, I have found that they are all dead ends. I have found that possibly the only way for action to be taken against this company is by reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission. Go to www.ftc.gov and report them. I have created a report there, but I appear to be the only one. They mentioned in that in order for them to take action, they need more complaints. Unforutantly, everyone has been going to other sources and not the one that can actually take appropriate action.
