Pressure sales tactics.

They sent me a scary legal style letter stating that I need to renew my vehicle warranty right away.
I called the number on the letter and the agent refused to give me his name, and when I stated that it's illegal for him to withhold information on physical address and where they got my personal information from he made fun of me and hung up.
These letters are scams intended to scare uninformed consumers and probably the elderly in making payments to them.
It's fraud intended to steal your money.
I believe they got my information from compare.com as that's the only different thing I've done recently (look up car insurance quotes).
I have filed a complaint with the BBB but i doubt it'll do anything as they already have 50 complaints against them.
I am considering sending it to my attorney general though, maybe we'll get results there.
Just be CAREFUL! Do not give ANYONE your money! No matter what they say! Have it checked out first!
