My Name Is Basel Abbas I am an Avant Card Holder, On the Morning of May 15th, 2019 I went to buy breakfast for my daughters I did not have my wallet on me all what I had in my car is Avant card after checking the credit on my online account via Avant website it stated that I have $19 in credit so I went and bought breakfast for my daughters the bill came to $8 and some change.

The Mcdonald Employee informed me that the card is declined, I ask him to try it again it didn't go through So I HAD TO TAKE THE FOOD FROM MY DAUGHTERS TABLE BACK !!!! How is it that I can not use the credit when I have it I called customer service The worst customer service on this planet the first time they said that it is the merchant error!! Then they said that I can not use my credit when My payment was due on the 13th even though I scheduled my payment for the 17th.

I asked the customer service lady I should have 10 day grace period they said no so I asked are they going to take my payment from my credit???? they kept me on the phone telling me lies after lies 48 minutes later I talked to Dentanio he identified himself as the ops manager of that place and he kept saying I will send your complaint to the escalation team. This is the worst experience that I've ever had in my life since when we can not use the credit that it says it is available ??

It is typical that when someone gets comments they don't agree with or follow their belief they go to the automatic "Oh you must work for the company". Well the fact is that like you I, and others that post here, are just a member of the public. I do not now or have I ever worked for this or any other Credit Card company.

You don't deny you owed a payment, as you stated you did schedule a payment and didn't write anything here that disputed that. A person with a "Credit" does not need to make a payment,  and there is zero reason to do that. So yes you are leaving a lot of details out, however those things are only items you know.

** wow , you are a credit management advisor now must be pretty nice to feel you are mr/ Mrs know it all in your world * if you are calling. 725 credit is sub prime

- A 725 score by what scoring model? What makes up that 725 score?  By  your own admission this is the only card you have.  With ONE Sub-Prime credit card and having to schedule a payment for after your due date relying on "grace periods"...Yes you are definatly "Sub-Prime" in attitude.

The fact that you also don't have a useable Debit Card tied to a regular bank account further shows this. As either you don't have enough credit to even obtain a bank account  or you have one with not enough funds. Which if it is the later would explain the need to "schedule" a payment after the due date, and confirm that if you keep going down this road your credit score will reflect your true attitude.  Oh and don't try the "Oh I can have a bank account I just CHOOSE not to have one".

But pehaps we have a language issue here. A "Grace Period" is the amount of time before a company will assess a late fee or take action such as suspend your account. Perhaps you separate out the late fee from the suspension. It may be true that some companies won't suspend your card for a missing payment for several days, persoanlly I would have to take your word on that because I make it a point to make my payments when they are due.  But almost without exception a company will assess a late fee as soon as the due date has passed, as that can be seen in their written terms.  And the ones that do waive late fees are generally for people with EXCELLENT credit.

Of course if you do hate this card that much, why not close it out and apply for other cards.  With your history you should have creditors banging down your door just throwing cards at you..right?  Oh and when you do this please post here what banks approved you for a credit card.

Avant Ghetto credit card

This is the response I got from the ghetto credit company. Your problem isn't that you have a credit, the problem is that you have not made your payment. People with a "credit" do not schedule a payment, so there are other things you obviously are leaving out. *** I did not leave anything out! It is a great PR to blame the consumer on actions .

When you have credit on your account it doesn’t matter whether you made your payment on time or not cause you HAVE CREDIT ON THE CARD to use when you need it. I asked the customer service lady I should have 10 day grace period they said no so I asked are they going to take my payment from my credit???? -

Where do you get the idea that you should have a "10 day grace period"? *** any reputable credit card company gives you 10-25 days grace period however the ghetto companies like you never heard of that If you are having to rely on "Grace Periods" in order to make your payments, you are not practicing proper credit management, and this is probably a main reason you are with a "Sub-Prime" card in the first place.

**** wow , you are a credit management advisor now must be pretty nice to feel you are mr/ Mrs know it all in your world * if you are calling. 725 credit is sub prime I don’t understand who gave your job!!! By the way it doesn't matter when you say you are going to send a payment, schedule a payment on-line or drop it in the mail box. The only thing that matters is when they RECEIVE the payment.

*** it does matter , this is a great case of your ghetto company avoiding the admission of your mistakes and trying to move to a different issue vs apologizing for the worst and the poorest customer Service on this planet . We all do mistakes and my mistake is agreeing to carry your ghetto card in my wallet.

I am will not stop until everyone I know knows about this and how s**+*** is your service and the way you treat your customers. Save your breath and enjoy the $14hr job that you have you are not worth that much
