This is in response to the 3 duplicate complaints "Mke" filed against Compact Appliance on this website: As the customer service manager for Richlund Ventures, which encompasses Edgestar and Compact Appliance, I would like to take a moment to respond and offer our services. I found the complaint somewhat difficult to decipher but I believe the root of the issue is that both items purchased from our company may not be operating as designed. If that is the case we certainly have sufficient policies in place to rectify any issues Mke may be experiencing. I have checked our email records and was unable to find a report of problems other than the emails received at the same time that Mke posted this complaint on this website. In fact, his emails to both Edgestar and CompactAppliance.com are simply a copy of this complaint. The Edgestar service dept has responded to his emails offering to assist him under the terms of the service warranty. We have offered to phone him and troubleshoot and correct any problem his Edgestar Air Cooler may be experiencing. Mke has responded by stating that he does not have phone service. At this point, we will need to troubleshoot with him via email or real time chat which we recently offered to him via email. Again, the unit he purchased is covered under a warranty which we will honor but it will require patience on Mke's part since the warranty service and troubleshooting will need to take place through email or chat. As for his Avanti product - that item is covered under warranty as well and he may reach Avanti through email: [email protected] Again, I am sorry to read that the two items he purchased may be experiencing problems and want to reassure Mke that we will do our best to assist him as needed. It may take longer to rectify the issue due to his lack of phone service but we will certainly work with him as needed should he wish to take advantage of the warranty associated with his purchase.
