AVENUE LOCKSMITH NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY! SCAM ARTIST! DALLAS Texas
I called locksmith from website www.locksmithforyou.us. Was quoted $15.00 service and $29.00 to change lock.
Shawn from Avenue Locksmith arrived & quoted $19.00 service and $79.00 to open the door because lock was broken which I approved. He agreed to honor the $15.00 service.
Next thing I know, he had put on a new lock that I would not have authorized and tried to charge me $98 for the $10 lock and $75 labor. He removed the lock but still charged $75 labor and $14 for who knows what.
They do not honor website pricing, his invoice is generic and he arrived in an unmarked car.
