I tried to sign up for the Privacy Assist program to monitor my credit and see my scores before applying for a personal loan. They told me I could not complete the sign up due to an address mismatch. I was to mail in proof of residence to credit bureaus before I could sign up. I never did. They tried charging the $12.99 on 03/04/09 and I caught it while it was still pending. BoA rejected the charge and Privacy Assist said they would cancel it so I wouldn't be charged. They charged me again yesterday 03/06/09. I called today to resolve the issue and they said they would refund me but it could take 1-2 months. Only took them 1 minute to take the funds though. Boa wanted nothing to do with my complaints and act as if Privacy Assist is a totally different company that they have nothing to do with. Stay away from this headache at any means...

This weekend I too dealt with Privacy Assist, for the THIRD time in 4 months.

Two months ago I had reported to Bank of America, there has been the same charge of "BAC Privacy Assist" - knowing I didnt sign up for the service, I was wondering why there was a Bank of America charge for it.  They said they couldnt refund, but I should contact Privacy Assist.... Who then proceeded to say they would refund.

Months later, the charges keep coming, and after 2 hours on the phone, from being polite, to screaming, to crying, to finally closing my account with Bank of America and forfeiting my $90.93 worth of money they have stole from me... I am at a loss, and will file reports with my Attorney General, BBB and any other company that will listen.

It seems as though a MISTAKE may have been made in an Update here!!!! I believe that $825,000.00 - $12.99 = $824,987.01 NOT $824,991.01 as posted earler, correct? Do you see how MISTAKES can be easily made? Coming soon- MADONNA POEM

of Goldman Sachs signed up for this 'Privacy Assist' plan and they deducted $12.99 from his weekly paycheck which came out to be $825,000.00 last year? He'd have to subtract that amount in his register, and he'd be left with $824,991.01 in his account, assuming it was a brand new account with BOA, huh? Since he made $42.9 MILLION in 2008 his WEEKLY pay came out to be $825,000.00 because $42.9 MILLION divided by 52 weeks equals $825,000.00, correct? And we can be certain that his checks all cleared the bank because Goldman Sachs received about $10 BILLION in TAXPAYER'S money last fall, according to the reports on the 'TARP' give-aways, right? 'Google' ths- GOLDMAN CEOS PAY PACKAGE DECLINED WITHOUT BONUS, to read about his compensation. I hope that the CEO's of BOA, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, & all the others are able to manage their registers so they don't get an OVERDRAFT in the future. I wonder if anyone e-mailed all of these Publicly Held Companies 'OVERDRAFT POEM', which appears in the Updates section here? Oh well, it's time to go & make some DIGITS! WELCOME TO AMERICA- IN FRAUD WE TRUST! P.S. Imagine what his compensation would have been WITH a bonus??? Coming soon- MADONNA POEM
