Banta Properties Holly Heights apartments This company put a $4000 judgement on my credit report without me knowing never went to court and I was never evicted out of apartnent and it has hindered me from getting an apartment tried to resolve issue they said the attorney would call me but never did and I found they were their own attorney Gainesville Florida
I got an apartment through banta properties for my family and I thought it was a OK place to live because rent was reasonable the apartment was a piece of crap they refuse to fix things in apartment I would call for maintenance they would say they we're coming but never showed one day I plugged something up and power went out upstairs I had refused to pay rent due to out of pocket expenses I stayed there rent free and I finally moved October 2013 I had my credit report pulled and a $4000 judgment was put on my report from them without knowledge they filed it in 2009 and I didn't know anything about it until I tried to get another apartment they found out about a bank account I shared with my mom and took money and refused to give back the owner acts as his own attorney and when I tried to resolve matter they refused to and it has a negative rating on my credit report

I had refused to pay rent due to out of pocket expenses I stayed there rent free and I finally moved October 2013.......and then you wonder WHY there is a judgement against you in the amount of 4 grand. Have we perhaps FORGOTTEN that pesky little thing called INTEREST?? Under 5 grand they DO NOT need a lawyer. More often then not people like YOU DO NOT read that rental contract. If you had you would see where YOU GAVE EXPRESS PERMISSION to have money pulled out. Its ALWAYS someone like YOU screaming scam or ripoff when 98% of the time its ALL on you. YOU just cry foul because YOU are being held responsible. Did you think they were going to just allow YOU to stay RENT FREE for even one day without seeking payment for it? Did you think that THEY were going to eat all those costs of YOUR use of the apartment?? Get over it and LEARN from all of this.
