Don't be scammed by Bay Point Lending Group. I filled out an online application and about a week later a man named Ron Davidson called and said I as going to recieve a 5000 dollar loan all I needed to pay was collateral because of my credit. I only had to pay the first 5 months which was 1100.
I said I could not pay that I would not be applying for a loan if I could and he told me he would call the lender and see if he could renegotiate the terms. he called back and said that he had and I could get the loan for 36 months instead of 24 and only pay the first 3 months which was 600 so I did.
Well this was friday so the money would not be available until monday so I waited. Well monday came and no loan so I called. I now spoke to Paul hamilton he said that the insurance company for the private lender advised that I be required to pay another 3 months for their security.
I was also told that I could not get a refund until Monday August 17th because that was the day that the private lender that I was borrowing from did their refunds so I had a week to wait either way so I figured why not try to get the other 600 and get the loan. I needed it I was trying to move and get land and a trailer so I wasn't paying 700 dollar a month for rent anymore.
well I borrowed the other 600 from a friend and called them on wednesday august 12th and said I have sent the money to clearwater canda for Robin Leney. Paul Hamilton said ok it takes 5 to 7 hours to process so it will be available tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and no money.
I called Thursday they told me it was still processing and would be available by 9 o'clock in the morning at the latest. Well 9 o'clock came and went so I called again. By the time I finally reached Mr. Hamilton it was one thirty in the afternoon. I told him that this is starting to feel like a scam. He reassured me that it was not and the money would deffinitly be available by 3 pm. I said ok and hung up.
Now there is no money I am out 1200 dollars and they don't answer my calls, pages, or emails. Please whatever you do. do not send these people money they prey on people that need the money and don't have much to begin with. I have lost my cell phones, home, car and dignity. If anybody know of any assistance available please send it my way.
