My Talent Service is simply a facade of Be/Gonnabe/My Artists Place and Urge Entertainment (owned by Erik De Sando) employees. While they claim to be a separate entity from Be./etc. employee Debbie Mendoza stated on the San Diego Topix board (Message 292, 6.26.09) that she has ready access to Be. client records--i.e., confidential information about our children. Initially, they purportedly were set up to handle customer service after Be. abruptly closed down its offices. Now they are, allegedly, "the service provider" for Be. They have no physical address recorded nor that they will reveal, only a p.o. box to send payments. They are set to offer actor workshops in SoCal that have no instructional staff or other information about who will be working with our kids. They will not answer questions about their actual location or their service providers either in a public forum or via their newsletters. Be. careful, Dallas TX and Phoenix AZ parents.

PLEASE READ MY BLOG AS IT DETAILS THE HELL I WENT THROUGH WITH MY FAMILY. THIS COMPANY STOLE MILLIONS! MY BLOG IS: http://beproductionsscam.blogspot.com THIS IS WHAT YOU GET (DON'T GET): Wow...all I can say is...wow. Apparently the parents were not aware that this whole thing is really a fraud from the foundation. All of it was a farce...the "referrals", the "discounts", the casting in the TV shows. By that I mean...the parents I talked to didn't see the red flags, because they aren't involved in the real industry. Here are some things I am now seeing as HUGE red flags: --Without exception, all the businesses that Be used were exclusively Be clients. In other words, Rising Stars did not exist before Be and only had Be clients. There were no working actors, no one who just CHOSE to take classes there. It appears as if it was created JUST for Be. In fact, it appears that all the companies were actually OWNED by Be. We know for a fact that Dynamic Showcases was. We are working on the rest. None of the rest of the businesses are used by other working kids in the industry. --The prices you were charged were not discounted. They were the going rate, or even more expensive than usual for what you were getting. --The TV shows were fake. You guys know that, right? They were produced by BE, and to my knowledge, never showed on TV. They were certainly not purchased by CW and were not "CW shows". It's a word game, but the most that happened was that BE Productions PURCHASED cable TV ad time at 2AM. Kinda like Shamwow! or the Ginsu knives. They were essentially paid advertising. --It sounds as if there were labor law violations. IT is a LAW--a HUGE law, that there must be a CA licensed studio teacher (not a regular teacher) on every set. When Be did their shows, it sounds like the kids did not have work permits or studio teachers. This law exists whether or not the kids get paid!! --Bluesky...why in the world, would a company bring a photographer from San Fran to Los Angeles, where there are extremely good photogs on every corner, who are experienced in the style of Hollywood headshots?? It's kinda like sitting in a peach orchard in Georgia, and someone saying, "hey...we'll bring over some peaches from Texas for lunch". It's just stupid. Again, Be probably owns Bluesky (or it is somebody's aunt or something). --There is no modeling training necessary to be a model. There are also very few modeling jobs in California. NO runway jobs. That is why few agencies will rep kids for print--they simply can't survive on commissions from that. The biggest agent in San Fran, who is one of the biggest agents in the country for print (Marla Dell) will tell you this. --The success stories in this newsletter? All bunk. Well...let me define that. I would say that "success" is having recouped your investment. ROI. NONE of Be's clients, to my knowledge, have ever recouped their investment. Few, if any, of these jobs, paid. Auditions are not success stories--anyone can do that. The term "featured" means extra work. And it does not take an agent to do extra work. Anyone can do it, regardless of skill level or appearance. Here's a big note: EXTRA WORK IS NOT A CAREER PATH TO PRINCIPAL JOBS. It just doesn't work that way--in fact, doing extra work is often banned by legitimate agents, and it absolutely cannot go on a professional resume. The two agents I noticed in this newsletter, All American Rascals and Youth Talent Connection are D-list mills. They take anyone. They are licensed at least...but you could have gotten them for the price of a stamp, no question. --Pageants are despised by the real entertainment industry. There is NO relation between the two careers. The association of Be with the Miss USA pageant is so far out there, I can't even begin to tell you. UGH...I shudder to think what was taught to parents in classes like "Money Management". EEEK. Sorry for the rant. Please know...it isn't directed at you. I'm just catching up to your anger about this thing. It makes me SO mad that they were doing this to kids. Kids who belong in the industry wasted so much time and probably developed horrible habits that will take years to change. Kids who don't belong in the industry (for a variety of reasons) were just being lied to...they also should have been pursuing interests that they are more suited to...some kid could be our next Einstien, or Tiger Woods, or Mozart but he was too busy dinking around with Be for 3 years. UGH.
