Beachbody's Slim In 6 adveristement on their web site:

Debbie guarantees you'll reshape your body in 6 weeksor your money back! You have 6 full weeks to try Slim in 6 for yourself. If you don't get the results you want, simply return it within 6 weeks for a full refund of the purchase price (less s&h)no questions asked. But keep the 6-Day Express Diet Plan, Cardio Core! Express, and Slim Training Band as Debbie's gifts to you!

JUST 3 PAYMENTS OF $ 19.95 each plus $12.95 for Shipping & Handling.

My first payment was $78.81 and they charged 2 more payments of 19.95 each.

TOTAL COST AMOUNTED TO: $ 118.65 instead of $ 72.80

My refund amounted to $ 24.98 + 19.95 = TOTAL of $44.93

Instead of a 1st time payment of $32.90 (we now have a 1st time payment of $ 72.80 and no explanations as to the hidden fees)

Their charges:

19.95 + ? = $ 32.90 for a subtotal of $59.85 How do they get this figure?

Shipping and handling 14.95

TAX 4.01

TOTAL: $ 78.81

I am still waiting for a clear and detailed explanation of their over-charges unrealted to their own advertisement. I received one brief note from CUST SERVICE that did not explain the mulitple overcharges.

Thank you

I'm willing to bet here's what's going to happen next based on all the complaints I've seen here and other websites complaining of the very same complaints I've seen on this website..... You will probably get someone posting a positive statement about Beachbody posing as a regular customer, but in reality is probably one of their coaches, which is nothing but a glorified salesman for beachbody who gets a piece of the commission. I mean...why would satisfied legitimate REGULAR customers come here looking for negative reviews to correct and/or refute? Does that make any sense...or does it make more sense that one of their salesmen would come here? I don't know for sure and I'm quite sure they will never tell you that they are a "coach" ie....salesman for beachbody. You will also probably get the "hero" to swoop in to help you against the big bad company that made an innocent mistake. It's a consumer affairs representative who used to be Pierre, but is now Debra. Oh..."I'll be glad to help you straighten out this mess and I am sooooo sorry that this happened." "We strive to give our customers the very best service we can." Do not believe this BS. My opinion....Stay away from beachbody...completely. They even have a "complaint" website which is nothing more than a website to warn people about pirated beachbody videos. Ask yourself AFTER you've researched the many complaints that is about the same things...lying, basically stealing money from your accounts (because if you didn't authorize it...guess what? it's stealing), not telling you about the hidden or hard to read or figure out "special memberships" that your enrolled in but don't know about until your account is charged. Automatic billing payments that just won't seem to cancel until one or two more are taken out of your account. Hmmmmm....I wonder why that is? Like I was saying...ask yourself AFTER you've seen all the similar complaints over and over and over and over again why they just don't discontinue the shaddy, lying, stealing and incompetent practices in the first place? Ask yourself why you have to fight to get: your money back, your various late/overdraft fees reimbursed, your credit card credited, your bank card credited...NOT to mention possibly having the unique adventure of trying to straighten out your credit report if your credit card just so happens to be over your limit because of a "surprise' payment or charge. Ask yourself WHY they have a website dedicated to fighting pirated beachbody dvd's instead of a website dedicated to eradicating their own shady billing practices? I mean...for a multi-billion dollar company to consistently overcharge, double bill, lie ect.. to their "important and valued" customers, don't you think that those kind of practices are easily stopped? I mean...when you go to walmart, are you consistently double billed, billed for purchases you didnt make? Do you have to call Walmart and tell them to stop billing you for automatic payments for a package of toilet paper you purchased? Why did I mention the pirated videos? Simple....if beachbody was more concerned with SINCERELY providing truthful, ethical and valuable customer service than they are trying to make sure people don't screw them out of money the way beachbody screws their own customers out of money then Debra wouldn't have a job because there would be minimal complaints and nothing so serious that would require the almighty "Consumer Affairs Representative" to intervene on your behalf. Why should ANYONE be grateful for her phony help, when you shouldn't have needed her help IN THE FIRST PLACE? She and Beachbody and it's undercover "coaches" are not sorry...they only want your money, even for things you didn't purchase or agree to. But they will offer an apology for "getting caught". You see....if you didn't bring it to their attention that they are nothing but incompetent, lying idiots...then you wouldn't get your money back and they become richer. Stay far away from beachbody.com and it's associates. This is my opinion. Before jumping to conclusions...re-read my post and ask does it make sense? OR you can believe the phony coaches posing as regular customers and beachbody's phony apologies.
