Beneficial/ Household/ Therron Witcher Fast talkers!! Rushing through loan documents! Declined all extra insurance for loan! They got me!! beware of the hook, line and SUCKER! College Park Georgia
Hello College Park branch!! I know Therron no longer works at your branch, (he's probably in jail) but the rest of the team there has not been willing to help resolve the issue I have inquired about on several occassions now.
I was treated like I was being absurd for my frustration of being taken advantage of and lied to. I was just told Therron no longer worked for the company, and I should have read the documents before I signed them. I then inquired what I needed to do to cancel the $500.00 home and auto security, $327.00 credit life insurance, and the credit property insurance. Fax a request in, and you guys said you would let your boss take a look at it.
Therron asked me if I needed insurance on my home and car. I declined, bc I already had Hazard Ins and Car Ins. I was told to bring proof, so I did. I had to wait about 20 minutes when I got there, and I had a child with me getting into everything. Therron came and got me and said it wouldn't take but a few minutes to get me on my way!! I thought he was being thoughtful; so beware of the hook, line and SUCKER!!!!
The loan was later bought with new one carrying lower interest rate. Agent said the insurance premiums do not carry over, and they were refunded but the accrued interest deminished them to a zero balance.
At that point I just wanted to see a print out of where my $900.00 went, and she said it didn't actually show the numbers, she just knows thats how it works, bc she does loans everyday!!!
Oh, well ok then, I'll just take your word for about as much I would take Therron's again. Need some paperwork, need some proof, then I'll never come to your branch again. PROMISE!!!

You cant blame those actions on the employees. The employees are only following company guidelines. You can do a search on Beneficial/Household and you can see that back then in 2003 they were nothing but loan sharks until the state of GA made them come into compliance. You should have probably asked them why did the employee Therron leave. I have worked there before, and I am telling you they forced you to do those things and if you didn't then you can either quit or get fired. Now that branch is probably talking in circles which lets you know how that company operates.
