Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane Associates - Las Vegas Nevada

This is in response to Kims comments as a past client of the Atlanta Haldane office, I have to respectively disagree with you Atlanta, Vegas, New York, Settle, Kansas City the problem with Haldane is not just one or two bad apples, but how it conducts business on a national level. What does seem pretty clear however, is that Haldane has, and in some cases continues, to - at the very least - pushed the envelope of deceptive business practices.

You NEVER bring someone to a legit job interview. Additionally, the interview should be about qualifications, skills, educational background, etc. and LEGITIMATE employment agencies do NOT charge fees to the applicant; these are paid by the EMPLOYER as a placement fee. The best way to get "unadvertised" jobs is through good old fashioned networking, not by paying through the nose to "consultants" who are actually salesmen. It is really a damned shame that in desperate times, sharks like the associates of BHA feed upon the despair and hopes of the people who can least afford it.

MAYBE the BHA is different in Atlanta...maybe that branch is run the way it should. I DOUBT IT All of these complaints from all over the nation have remarkably the SAME STORY of how people down and out on their luck are victimized by BHA. If you go through the BHA process, then read it about in the RIPOFF REPORT, it is EXACTLY how it is described. It is almost errie, and amazing how each office manipulates in the exact same way. BHA employees Force the spouse to attend so big money deposits can be made right then and there. Once you leave you will come to your senses and never return. That is why the spouce MUST BE WITH YOU! BHA asks personal questions that have NOTHING to do with employment qualifications. These types of questions are ILLEGAL under a normal interview. BHA calls them "counseling sessions" to cover the fact they want to see what a client is worth. If they really want to help people find a job, they would be more honest and upfront. The manipulations and tactics these people justify is amazing. All offices are trained to probe in the same way. BHA is a scam! All of these complaints can not be wrong, not matter what brainwashed (former?)employee says about it.

I have many letters thanking me for a job well done in my portfolio from my clients. BHA does not and should not promise a job. However, they do have a top notch job search system that works well for most. Those that use it will diffently be packaged to look their best on the resume, interview and will open doors for them. BHA does have a networking system, however, you cannot expect them to have a network of people for every profession. I do know the Atlanta office has been there since the 70's, therefore, has built a very large network. Every business hires people that do not work out. Unfortunately, it sounds, to me, like the people who are complaining here, had counselors who were not good at their job. As an ex-employee of BHA, I believe this... if all the clients of BHA wrote in to this site, the percentage of satisfied customers would be much greater than those that were not.
