Purchased irons on 3-24-07 and paid immediately. After two weeks sent several emails requesting status. Received one reply that said order would be shipped in 3 days due to parts being backordered. On fifth day I sent numerous emails (for 3 days) and called their customer service number listed on their website. Left over 20 messages with no response. No return emails.

Finally checked with California Better Business Bureau and found multiple (59) complaints in past 36 months, mostly unresolved due to company failing to acknowledge BBB. Found owners name, Ken Briggs, with phone number of 916-989-9073.

Called that number and a male answered and refused to identify himself by anything other than the company name. Called me unethical and a "jerk" for demanding to know the status of my order. He finally told me to send an email requesitng to cancel my order and I told him I had sent over 30 emails with no response. He said I did not know anything about business and was a complete idiot. I hope this helps others to avoid this company.

reviewing all the other reports on this company The good news is that you will recieve the product you purchased. and most people are quite happy with the quality of the clubs and the overall price they paid.. the bad news is that it generally takes the company about 3 months to deliver your order. so you should have your new clubs in June just in time for the summer season. of course the owner of the company Ken will explain that it really isn't his fault. that it's the overseas factories that are behind. in the meantime he is collecting $$$ on new orders to pay for the order you placed, (sort of a "float" account if you will) that provides a business with cash flow (a big problem for any small business to pay bills etc) this really isn't a bad business model. the only thing Ken needs to do is tell people that he offers a "custom golf club" service that you prepay for (maybe they could engrave your name into the clubs etc) and your item arrives in 90 days. I don't play golf and I'm not into the scene. but if he marketed it right. people will pay big $$ for custom clubs or VIP membership at the right golf club memberships. what gets people upset and leads to complaints is that people think he actually carries stock or has a retail store. & items are in stock ready to ship. when in reality he runs the business out of him home. (there is a photo on the internet. nice swimming pool) he does pay $150 a year for controlscan logo on the website saying the business has been background checked & it looks impressive. but the reality is that the business owner pays for the service (similar to the BBB) so it's worthless. of course being honest with you the buyer, could mean you wouldn't place an order. and that would be bad for business. so we play the delay game. some customers are cool waiting after 3 weeks they finally send an email. uhm did you get my order? you reply yes. should be another few days. 4 weeks go by the item arrives your happy. other people like yourself are complaining after like 5 days. it's best to cancel troublemakers orders like you :->)
