A representative for this alleged company, called my elderly mother here in Norway and informed her that she had been selected to receive a 2 week vacation to Orlando, FL (including a Caribbean cruise).
I do see from a previous posting that they have attempted the same little game in Australia. Everything included, of course, but "Oh, we do need your Visa-card number and its expiry date, just for verification purposes".
Luckily, I was able to get hold of the Bank and have the account blocked, less than 30 minutes later.
I guess the morale of this story is that if an offer seems too good to be true, chances are that this is the case.
