Complaint Review: Best Window & Door Comp Johnstown - Johnstown Pennsylvania

To the person defending BW&D. I am in the window the business and have exact personal knowledge of BW&D practices. They only want to sell you there "GOLD" series windows. They do gold, silver, and a bronze window which you will never see, nor have priced because they are nothing more than a builder grade replacement window. They also make the claim buy 5 get 5 free . well the first 5 you'll have to take a 2nd or 3rd mortgage out . They can never beat Window Worlds price because they do not do the volume of WW, who is nominated the #1 replacement company in the country. They also have the Good House Keeping Seal only 3 companies have it, Best does NOT ! Nothing in life is free, if your a wise smart adult which is up for debate. It also seems to me that you are in cahoots with Best because I read your snip about WW's windows will be drafty, a claim that every sales rep from Big Best Window makes. Its in there sales pitch. So you got the "golden goose" and married someone with money..which no doubt your taking full advantage of, "Pella tripple pane really ? Cant wait for the seals to go bad in 10-12 years then we will see how well you spent your wife's money.

Picking on a couple who only wanted to spend within there means , and not pay 800 to 900 like they would of with Best just doesnt make sense. They didn't hit the lottery like you did marrying in to money. I hardly doubt you work hard. I wouldn't be shocked if you married in to the family of Best window.

Get a life...leave it to us pro's who help consumers not harm them financially .!!!

First off, I do not work for the window people.  Second of all, I am not a spoiled brat, I worked for everything, married a nice girl whos parents have money.  I had to work for that.

The windows you were looking at are cheap windows, at any price.  They specialize in using billboards and cheesy radio ads to invite in uninformed and dumb customers.  We have nice Pella windows, which are not sold by BWD.  Triple pane, and super efficient.  They were also super expensive.  But, I dont have to worry about being in debt up to my eyeballs to afford windows, unlike most people.  Ultimately, you probably got windows or are going to get windows from some cheap installer and are going to be posting about the gaps and drafts from your new windows.

You need to get real.  Mid 40s means closing on 50 pretty quick, so how does that grab you?

You must work for them huh? Guess you don't like the truth, first things first, why try to sell to people you know they are NOT interested, why push the upsell? Aren't there too many people loosing their homes already, and why? Because they go past their means. We are trying to stay in our means, we don't appreciate the high pressure tatics. And thats all I was directing my comments towards, as for our age. I don't think mid 40's is old who has owned 3 houses, you sound like a spoiled brat who needs his mouth washed out.  Why don't you go bother someone else, instead of coming on here to defend a company who tries to pressure people into products they can't afford. Either you work for Best Window or you're in cahoots with the mortgage companies who hope honest hard working people get in over their heads. Have a wonderful life.

Im sorry, but how were you ripped off?  Im sure he makes a bigger commission from more expensive windows, so can you blame him for being enthusiastic?  It really sounds like you and your husband are two old busy bodies.  Thank God for the internet, huh?, cause now you can spread whatever you want.  You dont know ripped off lady.
