Better Business Bureau Of Northern Nevada Failed to assist and failed to properly handle complaint Reno Nevada
On March 31, 2004 I filed a complint with the BBB in Reno Nevada, against Jiffy Lube in Fallon Nevada, regarding the damage done to the fill plug on my 1993 Dodge Truck.
This original complaint was made on the web.
On that same day I phoned and spoke to Dawn who also took the information. On April 7, 2004, I received a call from Dawn who stated that a Mr Cruz Martinez, from Jiffy lube would call me within 36 hours.
I never recieved that call.
On March 11, 2004 I phoned and spoke to Dawn and informed her that Mr. Martinez had not phoned me. Dawn said she would get back to me.
Dawn called back and said she would file the report.
Having heard nothing for over a month, on May 21, 2004 I called and spoke to Dawn who asked if Jiffy Lube paid for the repairs to my truck. They of course had not, nor had I heard from anyone including the BBB regarding this matter. Dawn asked if I would be home for about an hour and I said yes. Dawn said she would get back to me after contacting Jiffy Lube.
Dawn stated that she would re contact JIffy Lube and send me a report form. This was the first I had heard of a report form by mail. Why didn't Dawn send this form to me when Mr. Martinez failed to call me?
I stayed home for 4 hours in the hopes that I would receive a call as Dawn stated, but no call once again.
It would seem to me that since the business pays the BBB to handle these matters that the BBB favord the business.
They have done nothing to help me in this matter and failed to contact me as they promised. The BBB, is a total waste of time in my opinion!
