It has been years since this report was filed.

There is no truth to this report and yet Rip Off Report continues to drive this falsehood into the top four postings when researching my name. They want thousands to resolve this, which amounts to nothing short of blackmail. They are saying ...We wlll continue to raise suspicion about your good name until you pay us to correct the posting.” These actions should be ilegal.

Anyone with any interest in research Big Boys Removals in Tampa can see the litany of complaints against them and the filings of complaints with the Dept. of Consumer Affairs and BBB.  They are nothing short of crooks.

The same searches on Tri-Star Marketing and me will turn up nothing detrimentl other than this one attempt at blackmail.

I had to get the police involved to retrieve my property from Big Boys Removals, which was illegally withheld. When the furniture was finally delivered it was only good for firewood. Anyone thinking of using Bg Boys Removals  should think again.

Now, it is time for Rip Off Report to remove this post and cease damaging my good name.

Big Boys tried one of the most often used, bad moving company scams on us and it has so far.... failed.

They quoted a price to move our company's possessions from our previous location to our new premises. The move took their slow moving, under sized movers longer than Big Boys planned. Taking two trips, they moved two thirds of the contents and then, having left a third behind, demanded payment, saying we had given them an invalid credit card number. Fact is, when they quoted they confirmed in writing that we could pay by check and so we gave them NO credit card number.

When we refused to pay until they fulfilled the contract and moved ALL of our possessions, they drove off with approximately a third of a truckload before the police could be called.

The reason they stopped moving our possessions had nothing to do with a credit card payment and everything to do with the pressure the movers were receiving from their office to finish the move and go on to the next job, which we were told would be more profitable for them.

Soon after this happened, we made them a very generous offer. We will pay the contract price, less the cost of the rental truck, which we used to move the balance of the furniture, if they agreed to deliver our furniture, which they are illegally holding. We proposed no deductions for time, labor, the extensive damages to the furniture, damages to both offices and the stress they have caused. So far, they have refused.

We, not they, contacted Better Business, the State Attorney, Consumer Affairs and the police. We have recently made a second offer through Better Business that we will collect the furniture ourselves, pay the contract price, less the cost of the rental truck and still no answer.

It's no small wonder Big Boys know about this site. They are mentioned here several times. Nothing complimentary.

Still waiting for them to make any kind of show of good faith.

Avoid them like the plague.

BIG BOYS REMOVALS  - MOVING SCAM

Big Boys tried the oldest and worst of the mover scams on us and it did not work. They quoted on a complete move and then, without completing the job, demanded payment. They claimed that we had provided an invalid credit card number. The truth is their quote included an agreement that we would pay by check and so we provided no credit card number. They have copies of the paperwork and so do we.

They left a third of the shipment at the premises we were vacating, which we had to move ourselves. They left with a third of our possessions on their truck and drove off, without waiting for the police to arrive. These possessions have not bee returned.

I have made a very generous offer to them. We will pay the quoted cost, less the cost of the rental truck we used to move the balance of the furniture ourselves. I proposed no deductions for the extensive damages to our furniture, building, lost time or stress. They are very lucky that I am too busy to be bothered with civil action.... so far......

Another truth. We, not they, contacted Better Business, the mover's association, the State Attorney, Consumer Affairs and ....the police.

You have many, many choices when you move. Avoid Big Boys.
