I ordered a Chrysler bicycle in April and paid by credit card. This crooked company has not sent anything and now refuses to respond. They are crooks and theives. I plan to go after them with every means at my disposal.

GOOD BUSINESS.

I know the owner of this business. He is a nice guy and has helped lots of people. Other than that most everything written on here is wrong and people making stuff up. It is true he sells allot cheaper because this is a side business and he doesn't need the money. (I know he catches allot of grieve from manufactures and other dealers because he can sell the stuff at his cost where he doesn't have to make any money on the bikes and other dealers don't like this:( But this pile on of calling him names and talking about hitting someone "up side the head" with a bicycle seat, or getting counseling is stupid and immature. One more thing. I don't see where the owner has responded to any post on here. I'll talk to him later today but I suspect that it is the old adage that any publicity is good publicity.

Your whole problem started when you treated your customers badly.

#3Consumer Suggestion

Thu, July 07, 2005

I'm Paul. I'm here in Anaheim, California. My last job was as a truck driver. I haven't ridden a bike in 10 years. I don't sell bikes. I don't have a bike business. Nothing to do with bikes. And, I don't have any grudge against someone who is in the bike business. Your whole problem started when you treated your customers badly. Several of them came here and made complaints against you and your company. And, what did you do about that? Did you try to straighten the problem out? Did you apologize? NO! You came here and posted the names and phone numbers for the customers who complained. You did that just to cause them problems. But, you still weren't happy. You came back and made up all kinds of fake names for new customers who loved you and your bikes. They were all fake. Like I said on another complaint page, you got no friends because you treat people badly. You can come back tomorrow and talk about how great your pink bikes are if you like. Nobody will believe you. In fact, you make the whole problem WORSE. The search engines pick up on every key word in here. So, instead of making your problem go away, you are just moving it up right underneath your bike site. Like I said, you're not the smartest person in the world. Think up a new site name. You ruined a good one with your foolishness. That's gonna hurt you. Make a new name. Then, don't do this same stupid thing again. Be nice to the customers from now on. If you don't do that, you'll just end up here with the new name. Is that what you want?

As to these posting's who is PAUL? X-EMPLOYEE? SOMEONE JEALOUS? MAN OR WOMAN? WHO IS EDIE? IS SHE REALLY A NEIGHBOR OR A LIAR? Let's face it this is the Internet and anyone can be anyone. IF YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ ON THE INTERNET YOU REALLY NEED HELP AND THAT INCLUDES THE STUFF ON THIS SITE! We don't even know that Gayle or Jack are with the company (at all) or just people playing with the losers that sit around writing rip off reports all day. (Which by the way Paul of Anaheim you seem to be on at least 40 rip off reports I have read. Do you work for the ripoff report and are trying to stir up business or just to much time on your hands)? For that matter who cares. To prove my point I wrote a complaint about a fake company tonight. By tommorrow at least six other people will swear up and down they got ripped off by the same company.

LOCAL BICYCLE SHOPS RIP OFF CUSTOMERS

#5Consumer Comment

Thu, July 07, 2005

I think I WAS IN YOUR BICYCLE SHOP IN HOUSTON! That is why I shop on the Internet. You had your prices jacked up so high I couldn't afford the bike. No wonder you are complaining about Internet companies. I got on the Internet and got the same bike (that you told me only you had) shipped directly to my door. I guess for people that want to flip through the yellow pages (further driving the cost of your bikes up) and then drive across town to pay your high prices that is up to them. As for me I like saving money. I didn't buy from this guy but if he was a big scam as a few want to believe how hard do you think it would be for him to open a new website tommorrow. Does anyone really think the corner store is better? They all buy from the same manufactures. It just comes down to how much you want to pay. I would rather shop on the Internet and keep my hard earned cash.

Try a bicycle shop!!!!

This internet bicycle dealer seems like a real joke!! So many people getting scammed trying to save a dime on the internet over using a local business. All's it takes is a computer and a credit card machine to set up a business on the internet, people!! This guy (or gal, I can't really tell who is who in this mess) probably IS operating what he calls a bicycle shop out of his house. Why in the world people order this stuff over the internet WITHOUT A CLUE AS TO WHOM THEY ARE ACTUALLY DEALING WITH is beyond me. I'm sure your local telephone directories are full of reputable bicycle dealers who would love to make a couple of bucks the honest way! Besides, if you do business with someone face to face you will probably have a clue as to if you are dealing with "Mr. Colton" or "Gayle" or if Mr. Colton is actually Gayle or if Gayle is actually Mr. Colton or if Gayle is in Texas or California or if Gayle is actually Mr. Colton in drag or..........

Any business owner that would come onto a public complaint forum and post full contact information for a customer just is not an ethical businessperson in my book. It has been my experience that those who argue the loudest usually have the most to hide. What is this owner hiding? The fact that he is running a shady business?

I live here. This guy runs this bike business out of his house. I was told we were not to have businesses in a residential area. Sorry you all have had such problems. Please check with reliable sources before buying bikes from a socalled company run out of a house.

Looks like Julie Smith was so busy trying to find someone to rip her off she was claiming foul on a company that was honest and upfront. My own bicycle purchases from these guys have been wonderful. I bought my mom a Pink Beach Cruiser and her purchase also was smooth and without flaw. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A BICYCLE.

Who is Gayle?

#14Consumer Comment

Tue, June 28, 2005

I posted information on this company on 4/28/2005. Same deal. Ordered the bike No shipping until I canceled the order and asked my bank to reverse the charge. Then I was contacted and told that I would pay 30% for canceling the order or have a charge-off on my credit report (see category on-line stores, Colton Enterprises Justbicycles). Strange that the rebuttal to THIS posting looks as if it is signed by Jack Clayton but is then signed by Gayle Garland Texas. Gayle in Garland Texas rebutted my report as well. This person stated that he/she was not the owner of the company, but was an employee who remembered me because of my bazaar behavior and many threats (hard to do when you can's get these people to answer the phone) all of which is untrue. This Gayle also felt it necessary to post my full name, address and telephone number exactly as he/she did on yours. In comes Gayle in L.A. (Gayle in L.A. on your posting seems to be someone from Colton Enterprises who takes great pleasure in posting your contact information, the same as Gayle from Garland did on my posting). On my report this was a happy customer who bought five bikes from this company and received excellent service at wonderful prices. Come on Gayle! Why hide behind the fake name I'm sure that anyone with half a brain can detect that you are Jack Clayton. Is your business so bad that you have to become Gayle to give yourself positive postings? You've heard it from me before, and here it is again Not an honorable merchant! It is you who should be banned from the Internet

Julie Smith: Let's get the dates straight

#15REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, June 27, 2005

p.s. Julie you filed your complaint on the 18th and signed for your bike on the 23rd. But for the fact that the bike had to clear customs and then be shipped it would have gotten to you earlier. You were told this all along. So while you are making up lies to cover your lack of proffesional courtesy please don't mislead people with your boasting that the bike came a week and half after you filed a complaint on this site. Don't be an idiot. If someone is going to rip you off do you really believe that complaining on this site is going to deter a thief? If we were unscrupulous how hard do you think it would be to change URL's every month. So exactly what is your big claim to fame? For those that want a good deal we are still selling bikes hundreds below retail at www.justbicycles.com or visit our store in Texas. Drop us a line and we will send a picture of the bike Julie got. You decide if she got a heck of a bargain.

Apology Accepted

#16Consumer Suggestion

Mon, June 27, 2005

"Dave" your aplogy is accepted. Just for the record we wouldn't sell to you again either your whining isn't worth it. By the way "Dave" why hide behind the fake name? Julie Smith 4748 1st Ave SW Naples, FL 34119 Phone: 2392612959 [email protected] Finally, you paid $264.98 for a $500.00 bike. If you wanted your hand held you should have coughed up the $500.00 and purchased from a local store that is willing to hold your hand for the extra $250.00. Instead, you bought on the Internet to save money but wanted your hand held anyway. For customers wanting to save money the Internet is the place to purchase. If you need your hand held purchase locally. You "Dave" should be barred from the Internet. You just haven't got the sophistication to appreciate a bargain. For those that do we will match any bonafide bike purchase price at www.justbicycles.com

Surprise, surprise! A week and half after I filed my rip-off report on this site - and 5 days after I finally disputed the charge with VISA - the bicycle arrived! Coincidence? Perhaps, but I doubt it! I also e-mailed Colton Enterprises directly and maybe that helped. In any case, I would never again buy anything from bicycles2go or any of the other business names this guy uses. He is the most unprofessional, unreliable, rude and crude business person I've ever dealt with! BUYER BEWARE!

Customer Gets a Great Bicycle. Apology desired!

#21REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, June 26, 2005

Naples isn't that big to figure out that "Dave" is the order of "Julie Smith." The bike was shipped and delivered on UPS tracking number 1ZE575W10330089614. If "Dave" decides to "go after them with every means at my disposal" he will at least have a great bicycle to do it own. Come on "Dave" you jumped the gun making false accusations and claims. Be a "man" and write your apology with the same gusto you were willing to jump on line and write badly. You might want to put something about what a great bike you got also?

At the time the order was placed their was a note on the product advising that the bikes were not available and were being pre-sold. The customer's bike was shipped as soon as available and the customer was aware of the manufacturing delays throughout the process. Even www.justbicycles.com can't make everyone happy:) Jack Clayton
