They assured us that a used motorhome we were purchasing would include a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty. They were suppose to repair a stove door and a toilet seat before pick up. After purchasing insurance and storage facility, two weeks later we went to pick up the camper only to find out that the repairs were not made and the warranty was a $200 appliance warranty only. The salesman admitted to telling us it had a 30 day full service warranty but they were unwilling to stand behind their sales pitch. The owner was a complete jerk, made my wife cry, and told us we were not the first unhappy customer, and he would dump off the motorhome next week anyways! BEWARE!!!

Bill Thomas Camper Sales is a family owned and operated RV Dealership serving the St. Louis area for over 40 years.  We have thousands of happy, satisfied customers that we consider friends.

The prospective's buyer's deposit was FULLY REFUNDED INSTANTLY at our suggestion when it became apparent that we would not be able to exceed the prospective buyer's expectations.

All warranty information is clearly spelled out in each used RV and explained to our customers throughout the purchasing process.  This particular RV in question is a 2002 Model.  It is 11 years old.  It has never been our policy to warranty anything other than the appliances on any used RV, not to mention one that is 11 years old.

The claim made in the original report is inaccurate for several reasons.

1.  We never claimed to warranty the Chassis on an 11 year old used RV.  That has been our policy for many, many years.

2.  The 30 day/ $200 deductible warranty was clearly displayed in the RV prior to purchase.

3.  The 30 day appliance warranty was clearly spelled out on the buyers agreement at the time of the purchase which was signed by the prospective buyer.

Once again:

The prospective's buyer's deposit was FULLY REFUNDED INSTANTLY at our suggestion when it became apparent that we would not be able to exceed the prospective buyer's expectations.

It is our daily goal to under-promise, and over-deliver.  We are successful at this several hundred times per year.  Our track record with thousands of happy customers over the past 40 years speaks for itself.
