Bill's Transmissions owns a towing service Dad's Towing, conspired with Thonotosassa Auto Repair who botched the repairs on my truck.
Bill's Transmission took there tow truck (Dad's Towing) to Thonotosassa Auto, illegally towed my truck to there shop and stipped the motor beyond recognition or repair, to hide the botched repairs done by Thonotosassa Auto Repair.
Bill's Transmissions refused to release me my truck unless I paid over $3,000.00 for disassembling my motor and $2,000.00 for reassembling my motor, not running.
At first Consumer Services found Bill's Transmissions in violation in Chapter 559.905 and 559.911, after Consumer Services discovered that no monies were paid they found no violations being committed.
After six months passing I finally received my truck back without a motor, leaving me without transportation and in a financial debt.
The parts were thrown in the bed of the truck to rust and corrode beyond use. Bill's Transmissions had no intentions to repair my truck, just to destroy the motor and help hide the prior botched repairs.

I just found this listing so here is our response: The person that wrote this complaint has taken us to court among as many other government offices she can think of and in each case we were found NOT to be at fault. She filed in small claims court as the final option and still failed to prove that we did anything wrong AT ALL. It is very easy for someone to file a complaint but when they are found to be wrong they do not bother to correct the issue that they started in the first place. There is no reason to have our name drug through the mud without a notification or opportunity to respond. We have responded to every other complaint she has filed through the state as well as the courts. We were not notified that this had been written or filed so now we are responding. Again, the courts found not fault with our company as well as the State of Florida or Hillsborough County Florida.
We did everything she asked us to do and when the result was not to her liking decided to file complaints and sue us. She authorized ALL work done to her vehicle BEFORE the work was done. This lady also managed to annoy everyone involved to the fact that she never paid any company mentioned in her report. Her vehicle was given back to her without any payment changing hands. We lost on labor, testing the heads as well as a couple of other items. All parts were in good shape when she received the truck and motor (they were stored inside), she left them in the back of the truck to rust and become unusable.
We work on 6.0L all the time and have never had any issues as she states. The truck had multiple issues that anyone that has a Ford 6.0 will realize can cause problems. Again, all work was authorized by her before any work was done. She even called to find out what was taking so long when we did not continue work on her truck because we had to wait for her to call back to authorize us to continue. When it was finally determined that she needed another motor is when she decided that we were at fault and she was going to not pay for anything. She never asked for her truck back until we received notificaiton from State of Florida that she filed a complaint.
