Im what is called in the fiber buisness a "grower" I produce fiber animals and harvest the wool or mohair for spining. Blue Barn fiber is what is called fiber sales, and fiber contracts. They offer to custom spin fiber from growers to be made into yarn. This is done at a 50/50 share. Blue barn fiber keeps 50% for spining the fiber, and I get 50% for producing it. I pay to mail the fiber to them, they pay to mail the finished yarn back to me. Moahir is the fiber involved, it avrages 65.00 to 80+ lb depending on the age of the Angora goat when it was sheared (got a hair cut)

In November of 2014 I mailed Blue Barn fiber aprox 38lbs of kid to 2yr mohair. This would be in the 65.00 lb range on avrage. With a few lbs of kid mohair being 80.00 months past and I heard nothing from the owner Holly Madison. In April of 2015 I wrote her and ask how the fiber was coming. I was told she had not gotten to it. I told her that was fine, please just return the fiber and all would be good. Two days later I was told Ms Madison had posted on a Facebook fiber transition board that I was a republican and due to my hateful nature, she felt the urge to tell people how aweful I was. It seems we Republicans are horrible folks according to her. How this has anything to do with fiber, I have yet to understand.

After sevral requests to have Ms Madison return my fiber, she refused. By May I ask again. This time she posted on the fiber transition board that she had paid to mail all the fiber back but I refused the package. First, let me say that is a package is paid for, the postman simply drops it off, unless it needs a signature, in that case the post office would have a record of it. They do not. This was her attempt to try and "legally steel" my fiber. A leazon from the fiber board got involved and convinced Holly to mail the fiber back and pay for the mailing as per our contract. Holly did mail it back COD. It cost me 38.00 to mail the fiber to her. She returned it in the same box, with 14lbs less then the orignal shipment to her. My COD cost, 46.00

Now she has cost me 84.00 in shipping and 14lbs of mohair (910.00) with no part of the contract filled, only cost, headache and theift. This along with liable, as her cover for doing all this was to tell everyone I was racist and hateful there for she felt it was ok to steel from me and break her contract becuse I was a Republican.

7 months and hundreds of dollars later, I can not recomend Blue Barn fiber.
