I signed up for a personal trainer with the Body of Change after an intense "free" workout and a break down "interview" of what I would get in return for my $156.00 a month. The package as I know now is full of lies and false promises and a lock into contract without Body of Change owning up to there end of the bargain. I was promised an nutritional evaluation, weight and measurements done montly, a 30 minute personal training session 3 x a week for the first 2 months and then once a week for the rest of the contract, and someone to hold me accountable. I want to get back in shape and was told I was over-weight but, with Body of Change they could help me. I was excited because this is what I needed. Someone to hold me accountable and to have someone track my progress.

#1 - No one can believe I was classified as over-weight because I am an active individual and although I do not have a rock hard body, am still athletic. I believe this was part of there scam.

#2 - The first two weeks was fine, but towards the end of the month the trainer would walk away from me and talk on his cell phone, have other individuals (his friends who were not employees) stand with him and distract my workout, and would not train me for the entire 30 minutes. I am very disappointed and feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of.

#3 - I was promised all of the things I needed and wanted including being held accountable in which "my trainer(whoever that is)" has not called me once and come to find out has transfered to another gym and no one ever called to re-schedlue me with someone new. It has now been over 2 months since I have spoken with Body of Change or its "trainers".

#4 - I called the corporate office and was told that if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay 50% of my contract and I wouldn't even get to use the 50% that I pay for to get out of contract.

I am appauled and hurt by by the lack of dedication that this company has to health and fitness and the services that they say they provide to its customers. I want this company to own up to its responsibility by allowing me out of this contract without having to pay a cancellation fee. Body of Change is a joke!
