Parked my car in a small lot at 140 Baker Street in Atlanta.  There was no lot attendant or the expected "take-a-ticket" type of dispenser, just a kiosk that was a little unclear as to how much it was to park & how long it was good for.

I paid for overnight parking (I think it was $7 for overnight) as I expected to be in town 2-3 days.  The next day at around 1PM, I made it back to the lot and without walking all the way back to my car, went to the kiosk and paid for another overnight.

When I returned to my car at around 10AM the next morning, I found that it had been booted on both driver side tires with an orange sticker on my driver side window instructing me to call & included agent# and location# with PREMIER PARKING ENFORCEMENT along the bottom.

About 45 minutes later, a Sean Williams showed up and charged me $75 to remove the boots.  When I told him I'd paid for both overnight parking stays, he told me I had to pay by 10AM every day to avoid being booted.  This isn't posted anywhere on site.  The kiosk had graffiti all over it and much of what little instructions there are on it were scratched out by the local...shall we say wandering type people I'm sure.

When I told him I paid a couple hours after that the day before, he just smiled and said, "Well, I must have just missed you." and handed me my receipt.

I believe this is a racket - as I was waiting for this Sean Williams to show up, I noticed that several of the cars around my own were also booted & with it being 10AM when I go there and these cars weren't there when I repaid the day before, there is no way they waited until after the questionable 10AM deadline before booting them as well.

There is no recourse to dispute this $75 charge.  The city of Atlanta isn't affiliated with PPE, Boot Man, Sean Williams or the lot itself.

Learn your lesson from me....when in Atlanta, do not park anywhere that does not have an attendent or the usual 'take-a-ticket' system of charging you for the time you park.  If you use a walk-up kiosk, expect to be booted.
