There is no legal requirement that an attorney disclose their bar number on anything other than documents related to a lawsuit such as court filings. In any event, you should do a couple of things. First, send the law office a certified letter under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act demanding proof of the debt and instructing them not to contact you. You can find plenty of samples by doing a Google search for "fair debt collection practices act dispute letter". Second, I would get a copy of your credit report from each of the 3 major credit report companies and dispute each charge in writing. Send the letters via certified mail. You can find sample letters by doing another Google search. If you have trouble finding either, perhaps one of the attorneys you work for can ghost write the letter for you. Good luck!
