This company is something else. About 1 yr ago, this company was better known as BREEDERS DIRECT. Due to the high amount of complaints on the internet, they changed their names to PREMIUM BREEDERS. Less than 1 yr later, they are now called BREEDER NETWORK.
I was searching for a quality puppy when I visited this site and somehow my info got submitted even though I canceled out of the request. 3 days and 15 calls later I finally gave them time for an interview. I admit, it was a warm comfortable process at first, until they made me feel like I might not qualify for a dog. Having a sales background, I obviously recognized the strategy and was appauled when I was obligated to commit to a puppy that I had never seen before and without any information as to who the actual breeders were, the bloodlines or anything else about the puppy.Even though I was told that I needed to re-apply in one year, I still continued to recieve calls. As I started to do my investigations into the company, I began to read about the complaints. Funny thing, I found a totally new website called PREMIUM BREEDERS, and OMG, guess what, another new company called BREEDER NETWORK?? You got it, and all with the same exact interview, verbatim, just different company names.
So I wondered what it really took to become one of their breeders and I called in from an unknown number since I also realized that they have caller ID and keep track of registered #'s that they have called. Well they directed me to this site http://breederadmin.com/public/ and register. Within no time, I had a phone call for a so called interview. It was rediculous what they were offering me for my imaginary litter of bull dogs... $1700, for champion bloodlines at that. they have more than 100% mark up, which explains how they can manage to give "The Best Health Guarantee In The Business".
I have been totally inspired to launch a whole new website of my own with breeders only recognized by Kennel Clubs. Since I am in the process and am truly weeding out backyard breeders and puppy mills, it has become a lot of work. If you are or know of any REPUTABLE BREEDERS, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Thank you and please beware of who you get your puppy from. Oh, I also plan to have links to shelters and rescues, since I truly am interested in finding animals a good loving home. I am not restricting my site to just dogs, even though I am a dog lover, I believe they all deserve good homes, with good owners and an abundance of LOVE!!
OOPS, I almost forgot. I found BREEDER NETWORK thru a visit on BULLDOGBREEDERNETWORK.COM, and the lady that interviewed me, said it would be easier to find them on their mother site BREEDER NETWORK to find their site. So I did this with over 20 breeds, and guess what.... GERMANSHEPHERD, CHIHUAHUA, MALTESE, BOXER, BICHON FRISE, DASHUND, YORKIE, LABRADOR, GOLDEN RETRIEVER, POMERANIAN, SHIH TZU and who knows how many other breeds with the BREEDER NETWORK added to the end of it are there. What a shame!!

You are correct. The site Breeder Network, which had all the subsites conveniently listed above by Brenda Norwich, no longer has current puppies shown on it as of the last few weeks. They are now pictures of dogs sold more than a year ago.
And the site Breederhq.com (Breeder Headquarters) showed up in the last month. This is exactly what the same company did last year around August, when Premium Breeders changed its name to Breeder Network. Within just a few months, Breeder Network got an "F" bbb rating, the same as Premium Breeders and Breeders Direct. The only question is, will these people be foolish enough to try to advertise BreederHQ the way they did Breeder Network?
By the way, there is a companion site drhq.com that appears to be set up by the same people. Had the exact same street address shown on the website until the page was changed a week or two ago. Coincidence, with "hq" at the end of each website? Not.

Looks like there is another new company started. If you go to bulldogbreedernetwork.com it brings you to the site with the address is Coral Gables. But if you fill out the Puppy Finder it takes you to a brand new site BreederHQ.com with a new address and under yet a new owner. so, from BreedersDirect to PremiumBreeders.com to BreederNetwork.com to now breederhq.com. Buyer beware, after the complaints about the other company names, who knows what will happen with the new site. You think they would not have linked the two sites together like that! Not very smart.

I just checked the ownership of http://beaglebreedernetwork.com and it's not what you said at all. Maybe someone should get their facts straight before posting these things. And the BBB doesn't have any complaints for Breeder Network. Where are you getting all of this and what is the matter with some people using an online site for purchasing a puppy? Some people want to use a local breeder, some don't. Some want to buy online and some don't. I think there is an air of site sabotage here and it makes me nervous for you guys who are deliberately attempting to damage a legitimate business. There is more than enough room online for every business to flourish without bashing the other guys. So far, I don't see sufficient evidence that Breeder Network is a scam or a terrible business to work with.
When I read their press release:http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/08/prweb4394374.htm
I noticed that they make a great case for being an alternative to puppy mills. I am really ok with this. And, I also found a few other sites that tout nearly the same claims.Maybe there are some people on here with entirely too much time on their hands. Look, the world is big enough for lots of different types of businesses. If this company is doing anything to hurt people, there are agencies that will look in to a legitimate claim and resolve it. The BBB is definitely NOT what I would call one of them. The BBB has a few shady tactics they use, so that's not a great argument in my book. I have been a business owner and I know exactly what it takes to get an "A" rating....LOL!
Anyway, to summarize, is there a claim of wrongdoing here...really?The original post seems more like a smear campaign and promotion for the writers' new website. The author still hasn't clearly stated any a wrongful charge against Breeder Network, where they have done anything wrong to the consumer. And, Breeder Network did respond to the original post in an attempt to resolve the original complaint. Just an FYI...

You stated that if they are the same company as a predecessor, you haven't seen a complaint. This is not sufficient to imply that a consumer should forge ahead and trust the company.
First of all, Breeder Network has been in business a few months, and has a BBB rating of "F". Secondly, there is evidence that all the companies the author mentioned are related. I don't buy "we use similar marketing" as an explanation for having the same street address and selling the same puppies. And these other companies have a much worse record than this new one. Why would anyone want to purchase based on the same marketing?
The natural thing to do for any concerned consumer is to take a closer look before they purchase. Especially before buying a live animal. People all too often buy puppies impulsively, which is why our shelters are overflowing. And at the same time puppy mills are churning out hundreds of thousands of puppies a year.
I contend that what a person will find if they take the time, is that they shouldn't be buying a dog through the internet in the first place. Definitely not sight unseen. And they should research the breeder who bred the pup, and meet the pup's mother.

RipOff report shows the web address as breedernetwor.com. There should be a 'k' at the end.
Employee Brenda Norwich states above that Beagle Breeder Network is owned by Breeder Network.
If you check on the internet, Beagle Breeder Network has an address of 4581 Weston Rd #357 Weston Florida. This is the same address of another company like Breeder Network called Breeders Direct. Several of the others she listed also have the same address.
Brenda also says Breeder Network and Premium Breeders are not the same company. But a month ago, these two sites had the same puppies for sale.
On September 2, 2010, both the Breeders Direct and Premium Breeders websites were disabled.
The person who wrote this complaint has a valid concern IMO. There appears to be a link between Breeders Direct, Premium Breeders and Breeder Network. Check into these companies yourself before making a decision. They are all near Miami and have negative BBB reports.
You need to research carefully before buying a dog. Consider a shelter or a good breeder. Don't use a pet store. Brenda says this company uses licensed breeders. You should find out who the breeder is for any specfic puppy prior to purchase. Call and speak with them. Meet them in person.

You have posted this same complaint all over the place. So I will place my response here, also.
I have purchased a beautiful Shih Tzu through Breeder Network and I was referred from a friend of mine. My friend is somewhat of a celebrity (so I won't use her name here) and when she saw these posts she called me and had me read over all of them. I have to say, I haven't had a days problem with Breeder Network and would refer my friends to them, as well. My puppy Bowzer came to me by plane and he was fine, clean, fed and had a small accident in the crate, which from what I understand is normal. The vet says he's healthy and he is growing like crazy, as expected. I think that if there are problems, maybe problems sometimes happen. It's not something to make such a fuss over. If Breeder Network caused any of the issues listed in any of these posts, I have yet to see anyone complain about BREEDER NETWORK, in particular. If they are the same company, they haven't had any complaints. If they aren't the same company, they still haven't had any complaints. My cousin will be buying from them soon, as well. So, if she has a complaint, I will suggest that she post it here, but I seriously doubt that will happen.

We respect your passion for puppies, however, we have
a few questions and comments concerning this complaint.
1. Breeders Direct
and Breeder Network are not the same company. There is a similar make-up of the
websites due to careful research and branding. You will find that companies in
similar businesses will also have a very similar look and feel to their
websites. This is due the market research and consumer feedback to help
companies design a user friendly and simple buying experience online, based on
industry standards. For puppies, it is a professional look and feel similar to
BreederNetwork.com. In order to ensure that all puppies are placed in good homes prepared for a new canine companion, most reputable companies will screen in a similar manner. This is not uncommon.
2. At the beginning
of your post you mentioned that you were interested in buying a new puppy for
your family. Then you went on to say that you were denied purchase at that time
(I needed to re-apply in one year). This is due to the fact that you did
not pass the screening process. Bringing a new puppy home is a very big
responsibility and in order to ensure that all puppies are placed in homes that
are well suited for a new family member, we use a rigorous screening process.
You were probably asked to call back in a year or so to give yourself time to
get ready for this responsibility.
3. No one is ever obligated
to commit to a puppy. There is no one who can force
you to commit to buying a puppy over the phone. It just doesn't happen that
way.
4. All of the puppies
sold through Breeder Network clearly show each puppys family bloodlines, if
purebred. Our site BreederNetwork.com explains in detail, each pups heritage,
displays pictures of the actual puppies and we send updated pictures to any
person inquiring about our pups. Puppies age very rapidly, so in order to keep
up, we only send new and updated pictures in the event that the image on the
website is outdated by a few weeks. Our breeders are the finest in the country
and we stand behind them every step of the way. In return they provide the best
care and highest quality environment possible.
5. If you were
looking to buy a puppy and were initially turned down, why would you think you
were suitable to breed puppies? Owning a puppy is a big responsibility in
itself. Breeding puppies is a massive undertaking and takes skill, time, care,
money and know-how. Please reconsider until you have actually raised a puppy,
have all the tools and equipment necessary and have checked with the AKC for
official breeding guidelines.
6. Pretending to be a
breeder in order to join the Breeder Network family of breeders is a fraudulent
act. I am very curious to know why you feel it necessary to cheat, lie, and
trick people all just to make a complaint on this board. It is a blatant
disregard for the real issue...the puppies. Your entire post is about how you attempted to buy a puppy and were
turned down, then tried to sell "fictitious" puppies and were turned
down.
7. To answer your concern about our network:
Breeder Network is a NETWORK of fine breeders across the
country and websites on the Internet. We have many sites that cater to a
specific breed of puppy. We have found
that there are folks who prefer to visit a website that caters precisely to
their favorite breed of puppy, as opposed to shopping around with other
breeds.

We are proud of our websites and enjoy helping families find
a forever canine companion. We are constantly adding new breed sites to cater
specifically to our customers who love their pets. If you dont see your favorite breed, dont
worry were growing all the time!
There are a handful of reputable breed networks online
that deal only with licensed breeders, the best puppies and offer a health
guarantee. These companies are not puppy mills or backyard breeders. These
companies are attempting to make it more and more difficult for puppy mills
to operate by offering access to a nationwide (sometimes worldwide) network of
the best and most reputable breeders in the world. Most often the breeders are licensed, breed
champion bloodline puppies and are more than willing and proud to display the
heritage of each and every puppy they place. And so do we.
I hope this helps to dispel some of the issues you have raised
and please, if you ever have a question or concern, please feel free to contact
