Brevard County residents that have septic tanks are required to have a permit from the Health Department and a contract with a licensed septic tank contractor.

My aerobic unit stopped working - so i had to have a new one. (Brian Davis did not suggest they rebuild the one i had) just buy new. i asked for a quote. Their quote was 950.00 to 'replace and install' an Alliance unit.  I've had Hiblow for 12 years.

I called B.D. Septic and requested they tell me what the 950. covers "replace and install" is too vague. they insisted the repair man had to come out and show me and it would take an hour.  So we met -the repair man stood in front of where you plug in the unit and said i dont know why i am here -i just plug it in.

So - the Hiblow unit from a repupable dealer is 410.00 (with alarm) So they were going to buy an Aliance unit (which i looked and they are only 300.00)

the unit cost 300.00 / and they wanted me to pay 950.00 (three times the price of the unit) to drive it to my house - set it on the pedestol for my aerobic unit - plug in the hose and plug it into the outlet.

and when the repair man came to my house 'his words exactly - many of my customers buy thier own unit because they do not want to pay Brian's high prices.  Well after i put my 400.00 unit on the pedestol and plugged it in i called them to come back to my house to certify that it was working. the repair man came -told me he was going to charge me 75.00 for coming and then called Brian Davis. Then a few days later i got a letter in the mail refunding my money becuase i would not pay his 950.00 for an Aliance unit that cost 300 and then pay him 650 dollars to plug it in to the outlet and the septic system. no special tools, no digging, nothing but plugging in the unit.
