I purchased a minicam from Brickhousesecurity.com and as instructed downloaded the setup program, essential for using the camera.  Norton's identified the program as a risk, so I wrote Brickhouse about it and they told me to disable Norton's, everything was fine.

I was dubious but I did it, and sure enough that crappy setup program installed MALWARE on my system which hijacked my browser and disabled my virus protection.

I was that immediately and contacted Nortons, who were excellent, and cleaned my system, which took an HOUR to do.  Norton's was super, and told me Brickhouse is known to to pretend to be a legitimate business but supply malware and crappy products.

I've written Brickhouse demanding a full refund.  I have yet to receive a reply.

The Brickhouse website is very impressive, claiming to supply military and police departments with a rock solid guarantee, and that is bullshit.

Brickhouse should be shut down for fraud and the distribution of malware.

Hello, I apologize about the issue you had with the camera software.  Due to the nature of our products and some of the wording on our website in regards to those products, Norton and some of the other anti-virus detection softwares have automatically tagged us as selling Malware.  We've found that if you scale back your security settings it will allow the software through. 

I assure you we are definitely not in the business of purposefully selling Malware that would cause harm to our customers computers.  We would not have an A+ BBB rating or the postive customer feedback we have received.  This issue has been a recent - and unfortunate - result of the anti virus software companies adding us to the list for the way some of our products are marketed and sold on the web... and it's something we are working on the remedy.
