Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In almost 40 years of car buying this was the worst experience ever.I would call it a financing "bait & switch". Purchased the vehicle on Saturday, picked it up on Tuesday and then got a call Thursday saying the financing package did not go through even though on Saturday when I was signing papers I was told "This is the deal we have for you".

My only option was to accept a higher rate and higher payment. I took the vehicle back to them and was dealing with the finance manager at that time. When I went to pick up the vehicle I had traded in the sunvisor was gone.

When I complained to the finance guy he implied that I was lying. Finally, he told me he would order one the next day to replace it.I then kept calling him to see if it was in and he would tell me "I'll check on it and call you right back". He never called back. It took over a week of this for me to realize he had no intention of taking care of this!

At that point I called the manager of the dealership and told him the story.Within a hour I got a call from the same fianace person tell me the part was ordered (finally).I also got a call fronm the parts dept. confirming the order.

All in all I feel I was jerked around, lied to and treated with the utmost disrespect.

where you take the car home and (proudly) show it to friends & family... and then, the dealer calls and oops, so sorry, tells you that there is a financing problem, and your payments are substantially increased, and..... Many people will cave at this point and pony up, because they feel more comfortable acting like rugs. Which is why this trick is used: it works! Some questions: Why don't you get your own financing arranged at your bank or credit union BEFORE you attempt to buy a car *anywhere*? Why don't you research the type of car that interests you before you venture into any dealer's lot? Consumer Reports [April issue] is a great place to start. There are many auto-buyiny web sites, too. Edmonds comes to mind. Then there is NADA. Also "Car Buying Tips & Leasing Scams". The list is quite extensive. Of course, it is less effort for you to simply wander into a dealership and let them 'do everything' for you. Or is that "let them 'do everything' to you"? Well, at least it is easier to let them 'do everything' until you have to pay for that wonderful service, but then, to each their own....
