On the evening of july 12 I was off work and going to meet my wife and kids at the county fair. I drove around looking for a parking spot not having any luck. I Finally found a spot in a store parking lot, the store has been closed for a couple of years. I have parked in that parking lot for many years in the past. There were not any no parking signs or no trespassing signs that were in plain view, so I parked in the lot along with about 20 other vehicles. At about 9:30 pm my wife and I decided to leave I rode with her to the location of my vehicle or I should say the location my vehicle was. To my surprise my vehicle along with all others were gone. At first I thought my vehicle was stolen but then noticed something that was not present when I parked my vehicle; No trespassing signs, and private property signs littered the parking lot. I flagged down a sheriffs deputy and after some investigation he found my vehicle and others that had had been towed, as per request of the owner of the parking lot. The deputy gave myself and others the tow company info. I contacted the tow company and asked why my vehicle was towed he told me there are no parking signs on the building and the owner of the property requested the vehicles be towed. There were signs on the door printed on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, not readable from the parking lot. The tow company (BULLDOG TOWING) told me it would cost $350 to get my 1987 ford pickup out of impound. By the way they towed the vehicle approx. 5 miles. My wife and I drove to the location of the tow company and waited for the manager to arrive. I asked the manager of bulldog who owned bulldog towing he said Dave Roberts who also own peach street auto wreckers. Come to find out Dave Roberts also owns the vacant store and parking lot which my vehicle and many others were towed from. Sound like a scam and a ripoff!!!

I saw your truck and others.. there were pallets and red tape saying do not enter plus the signs on the windows of the building. It doesnt matter who owns the companys you would do the same if you came home with a car in your drive way. All I can say is next time pay the 4 dollars to park else where and dont take advantage of peoples properties...just cause a business is closed doesnt mean you can just use the property cause your to cheap to pay for parking...I'm sure you dont let everyone and anyone use your stuff without permission.... And from what I heard they notified the police and the fairgrounds and waited before they towed them....... Plus they didnt tow the vehicles that were there prior to the pallets and red tape even though they were still there... you openlly admit seeing the pallets and red tape plus the 8 x 11 signs in the window....plus there were only 3 vehicles towed and only 2 payed...... I really dont see what your complaining about...you thought nothing would happen and it did......they called your bluff ....you lost..... If people dont pay attention they get what they deserve....
