Visited the website buyatimeshare.com. Wanted some info in regards to selling my timeshare. Was contacted by Mr Quincy Browne. Gave me all the required information. Mr Browne did not mention at any time that there would be an upfront fee for advertising nor did Mr Browne mention that it was non-refundable. Was then passed on to Jacki her assistant. Told Jacki to hold onto this transaction till the next day. Had to consult my wife before going ahead with this. They did not wait. They charged my credit card straight away. After calling my wife on the same day i sent an email to Mr Browne telling him that i will not take his offer for selling my timeshare for the asking price for the advertising was too much. Also on the same day i called twice and left messages that i am declining the offer. On the following day i called again and got a customer service rep. Told him i am declining the offer. He passed me on to his voice mail where i left him a message. When i found out that they charged my credit card i rang them again and spoke to a customer service rep. After explaining him to him my situation he said that he could not be of any help to me. He forwarded me to Jacky`s voicemail where i left a message. Mr Browne finally contacts me i tell him i want my money back and it is at this point that he mentions that the money is non refundable and he insists on my signing some documents he sent me on the first day he contacted me. I never signed any documents he sent me.

1. I never agreed to anything from my phone conversation to Mr Browne nor did i authorize him to debit my credit card.
2.When i was passed onto Jacky i made it very clear to her to hold till the next day for any transaction for i had to consult my wife beforehand.
3.Mr Browne never mentioned that the advertising fee was non refundable from our phone conversation.
4. At any point in our conversation did Mr Browne tell me of my cancellation rights nor that there is a timeframe of 72 hours for such. ITS AGAINST THE LAW. ANY OFFER HAS TO HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY OR REFUND POLICY.
5.As with any offer there is a cool down period where you have the right to cancel. As stated from their website under additional terms and conditions that i can cancel within 72hours and it had to be written. As i live in Australia I notified to Mr Browne via email of my intention not to go ahead with the offer he made me two hours after our phone conversation. He still insists that the money is non refundable.
6.During our last conversation Mr Browne was quite rude to me because i kept insisting on him to give my money back. He called me an obnoxious person and TOLD ME TO SHUT UP. He is supposed to be the sales manager. Did your mum ever teach you manners Mr Browne?
