Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I listed with buyatimeshare.com on 1/12/2008 and have heard absolutely nothing from them outside of the 3-4 calls I personally made. They always give you the same response: "Sir, your property is listed with us on our website and is generating traffic". The second common response is an offshoot of the first: "We would be happy to list your property on the Hot Deals portion of our webpage to try for even more traffic". I bet you would like to list my property on your "Hot Deals" website because it costs another $400-500! I have also gotten the response that our economy is not so good right now and there is nothing we can do about that. Blah, Blah, Blah.

It is now July of 2009 and nothing. NOTHING! After a year and a half of patiently waiting and feeling scammed out of $1000, I think many people would be upset. I don't feel my asking price is unrealistic, I spoke with an employee at the beginning who suggested a listing price of $15,000. When he said that, I was ecstatic because I paid about 60% of that a year or so before. I even remember asking him if this was realistic and he assured me it was a fair price. About six months went by without an offer so I called in to discuss my options and we decided on a $10,000 asking price this time. Amazing how one guy tells you $15K is fair and then six months later another guy says the price is too much. I just ran with it because I was desperate to sell my property.

I accept full responsibility for getting myself into the timeshare market to begin with, but I cannot in good conscience accept blame for the current situation with buyatimeshare.com . A timeshare is a good investment for some and if you are a happy customer then good for you. I happen to be on the other end of that argument and believe it is very difficult to organize a trip through a timeshare company.

You hired the best advertising company in the world. Your fee is going toward the extensive advertising of your property.  When you contracted us to advertise for you, it was understood that you did in fact wish to list your property for sale.  We have been doing exactly what we were hired to do, and we will continue to do this work for you until your property is sold.  When there is an offer on the property we will facilitate the transfer through a commissionfree sale.  No other company in the world is equipped to provide the services that we do.

BuyATimeshare.com has always been here to help you every time you call and we will continue to help you update your ad to increase traffic and your chances of getting it sold.  We cannot seek out every client whose property has not sold immediately.  The $46,000,000 in sales you mentioned is of timeshares sold, not profits made.  We do not make money on the sale of your property.

If you are still not 100% satisfied, please contact Customer

You can start by returning my $1000 that your company stole from me.  I don't care about the $46,000,000 in sales your company made and for all I know, you could have made that number up.  It has been 2 years and I have heard nothing, but all of a sudden you want to help.  The only reason you want to help me is because I posted a very scathing complaint on this website and you don't want your company to look bad.  Since your company has made $46,000,000 in sales recently, it shouldn't be a problem that you return the $1000 to its rightful owner.  I would like to discuss this matter further so please leave your name and a contact number.

At BuyATimeshare.com our main objective is customer satisfaction.  I am extremely sorry to hear that you have a complaint with our services. We are motivated to work with you until your issue is resolved.  And while it is true that the travel industry as a whole has suffered a bit due to the current recession, we are confident in our ability to attract a buyer.

People are still buying timeshare on the resale market! In the past six months, BuyATimeshare.com has received over $46,000,000.00 confirmed offers submitted to owners listed on our website. With our aggressive marketing techniques, we guarantee that we are putting your property in front of the maximum amount of potential buyers possible.   So, if you are not getting the desired results for your listing, let us get to work finding a solution!  A timeshare is not an investment like real estate.  Timesharing is an investment in lifestyle.

We will continue to work with you until the property sells.   BuyATimeshare.com provides all of its customers with the worldwide advertising needed to resell timeshares; in fact if you or another company can sell the property before us within 15% of your original asking price we will fully refund your advertising fee as long as you provide proof of sale from the title company.  Please consider lowering your asking price, as you may be priced too high for potential buyers to make an offer.
